So far so good.
The media could not be loaded. I’m quite impressed with this printer. I’ve never had a big fancy one like this. It was very easy to set up and the directions were simple to follow. Everything started up great and it’s giving me zero issues so far. It connects to WiFi, or a land line for faxing. Even if you don’t use the fax part, Everything else still works great. Print speed is decent too. Much faster than a regular ink printer. The ink they provide is really well pigmented too. You get black and each color (R,B,Y) pictures come out beautiful and crisp.

Whew! Absolutely no complaints, just pure relief!
At Last! We love this printer♥️ unfortunately back in November I purchased a highly recommended printer from a manufacturer I had always trusted! What a disaster…it wouldn’t hook up to air print…i waited until the last possible week to return it to amazon thinking i would figure the problem out…Never did and returned it…asked my neighbor what she was using and she recommended this printer. I had it unboxed and up and running with no trouble within 30 minutes. One week in and it is still great…..highly recommend!

The Printer Refuses To Print
2024 Update:This printer is still overpriced garbage that I would give it a less than one star review if I could, and I have subjected it to perforation via a cannon on the 4th of July. I'm only updating this review because of spite and to report that I've been using the, "Canon MegaTank G3270 All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer. for Home Use, Print, Scan and Copy, Black" printer after it was recommended to me by a local print shop employee. Not only is this printer ~$100 dollars cheaper, a smaller profile, has a replaceable print head, and larger/cheaper ink... But it also prints marvelously.I can honestly say that the Canon G3270 has never given me problems; the setup was quick and easy, the ink reservoirs filled easily, and even if you leave it powered off for prolonged periods (1 month) it will still print over 60 pages of documents and 10 pictures flawlessly without any; blotting, streaking, distortion, fading, or artifacts. It will not even force you to update the firmware before it prints, which is truly a relief.Original Review:This is quite possibly the worst printer I have ever had the misfortune of owning, it has literally never printed a document without a problem of some kind after the first month. There have always been problems with it printing too lightly, with streaks, splotches, and lines. Even after an 8 hour tech support session across; Email, text chat, and numerous IT technician phone calls only resulted in *acceptable* prints in that they were legible. And I settled for that because the printer ran out of ink from all the diagnostic prints they had me do.Only to have ANOTHER 6 hour tech support session after the replacement ink arrived because the damned thing still didn't work, and I had to install Brother's proprietary apps "Brother iPrint&Scan," "Brother Utilities," and "Brother Creative Center" just so that the support technicians could get it to work for two days. It then went back to malfunctioning, refusing to print black unless it was printing a diagnostic. Printing entire blank pages if you selected the "Mono" black and white printing option.I hate this printer, I honestly loathe it, and I will be destroying it. Physically destroying it because it is a piece of garbage that should never have been made, and I hope that everyone who contributed to its awful existence suffers from hemorrhoids for twice as long as I've had to deal with this printer.

Satisfied
My old printer died so I choose this printer because it was a different maker than my old one. I like the option of that it can print pictures. I haven’t use that feature yet. So far I am well satisfied with my purchase.

Better than the HP or EPSON for sure
Considerable time was spent prior to choosing this Brother PrinterMFC-J4535.The setup was straightforward. It has 2 paper trays. The larger bottom traywe use for paper that was already printed on one side. Paper that wasotherwise trash, became our primary source for new prints.Tray 1 is used for new paper or glossy photo paper. It defaults to print from both, selecting the tray with paper. We chosetray 2 as the default source of previously used paper. We use the fax rarely but appreciate the option to send and receive faxesas it saves us time from driving to Staples at couple of times a year. The print quality has 4 choices from BEST to ECONOMY.We chose ECO mode because ink jet printers last best if the jets areused at least a little regularly but most of our prints are temporary anddon’t require high resolution. This saves ink. Better than gray scaleusing only black ink.Although our EPSON printer boasted 2 years of ink, our experiencewith it was jamming and it caused our default laser to no longer functionThe HP versions removed the COPY function from the printer andforces us to get a cell phone to control a page duplication. Unnecessarycomplication. The control panel on the Brother was large and straightforward to use.Having had HP and EPSON ink jet printers in the past, the Brother servesour needs and budget best.Although I don’t know if we will use it, the J4535 allows us to faxstraight from the PC without putting paper into the fax/printer.And an unexpected bonus was the inclusion of an older version ofPaperPort, which we have used for maybe 20 years. If you already havePaperPort 14, don't install the included version 11.This printer does use ink jet cartridges instead of tanks but the costis reasonable.Happy Customer
