Favorite book
My nephew LOVES this book. He has a closet full of books, but this is far and away his favorite. He has started (finally) talking beyond mama and Dada with this book and after a short period of time, could identify each image when I asked him to find it. (I.e. Wheres the bear, he points to it) a few months later, he can now id all of the word in the book (I.e. I point to bear and he says "bear"). Have purchased the rest of the Jane Foster books, many coordinate or have same images so he loves them, too and is learning numbers now.

Perfect
Granddaughter (4 mo) LOVES this book. Her favorite page is at the end with a bear and a lion. It is a nice size- larger than the little 'cube' type cardboard books, and the pictures are a little shiny on a matte page. They are beautiful! I have already ordered some of the other books by Foster after seeing the quality of this book.

Jane Foster is our son’s favorite books to read
Jane Foster is our son’s favorite books to read. He loves the pictures that are easy to recognize. This book was the first he was able to read/recognize pictures on his own at the age of 17 months.

This is my 3 month olds favorite book. She prefers it to real photos and black and white illustration. I highly recommend this for a small baby.

A winner
My daughter prefers Jane Foster's illustrations to those in all the (many, many!) other books I "read" to her.

Fun for any age! Durable too.
Love, love, love the teaching aspect of this book. Helps tinys to recognize items, toddlers to name the items, and bigger kids to read.

Got my son talking
My son was a bit delayed with his speech so I bought him the Colours book in this series because I thought the pictures were so beautiful and interesting. He seemed to really enjoy it, so I bought the rest of the collection and he’s learning a lot from them. We go through the book and he can now say most of the words, which is wonderful for me because I was so worried that it was taking him so long to talk. There’s a lovely collection of all the pictures at the back of the book which we use as a game once we finish reading, where I say the word and he finds and points to the picture. Before he started talking I used this to check he understood and remembered even if he couldn’t communicate. I love the textures of the pictures and I’m so glad I bought them, they are his favourites.
