Very good quality product, light weight, handy and simple plug and play, speed of data transfer is good

I recently purchased this 1TB hard disk which is light weight. My main reservation is the high cost; I feel the price should be lower for what it offers. As I anticipated, the transfer speeds are quite slow, so it's not ideal for frequent, large transfers. On the positive side, it comes with a generous warranty period, which provides some peace of mind. Crucially, I believe it's safe to store important files on it, which is the primary purpose of a hard drive. Overall, I'd say it's an okay product for bulk storage, provided you're aware of the slower speeds and higher price point.

Superb HD, I have always trusted Seagate with my important data and it has never let me down. I have bought two these at present and will always stick to Seagate. I recommend this to everyone who wants their important data stored on an external hard disk. The product is amazing, sturdy, reliable pocket friendly, easy to travel with and most important trusted.

Performs as expected form a hard disk, [Test Results and hardkdisk photos in Images] Physical: It's light weight and small size (smaller than palm) The case is of okayish quality, if you press on it, it gets flexed maybe they should have made it a bit stronger the cable quality is good It comes in a single box with HDD and cable no additional case/cover included Storage Capacity: 931GB (10,00,17,05,86,112 bytes as reported by File Explorer Windows) which is exptected from a 1TB drive Since many people were complaining its not 1000 GB or 1024GB, windows will show different capacity then what a manufacturer advertise, you can look up on google on how that works In short the 931GB is what you'll get from a 1TB drive(any drive not just this one) Performance: As expected in a HDD Speed is as expected for a HDD Crystal Disk Mark test The first speed test i ran the write speed was slow but reconnecting it again it was good Speed tests are in images, for comparision i included benchmark of my internal drive as well {E drive: Seagate , D drive : My internal drive} both of 1TB When the drive is busy writing reponse time jumps upto 15 seconds They are both similar in terms of speed so no complaints there Test 1 copying ~3.5gb files of different sizes from 100KB to 200MB Took around 2 minute, avg speed of 25MB/s (write), there was some fluctuations when transfering smaller files Test 2 copying ~200GB folder with .mp4 files (all files over 500MB) Avg speed 100MB/s (write), the speed stayed pretty much the same Note: Sometimes it gives only 26MB/s write speed and other times over 100MB/s write speeds and i cant figure out why it does that, all my ports in the laptop are USB 3.1 gen1 so idk why the speed difference is there maybe some connection issue Connector : Its a USB A to USB micro B superspeed connector, the cable length is ~40cm which is okay and cable and pin quality is good Temperature : after a few tests the case became warm to touch or 45C as reported by software Its idle temperature is around 38C~39C at room temperature When plugged in computer there is a slight vibration if you hold it(which is fine), but no significant noise when reading or writing This is a short term test, i will update the review if anything happends regarding the drive As of now the the purchse for me was worth it, i bought it for INR 4899 during great indian festival sale

Feeling Cheatd by seagaeand amazon unable to use his product. Amazon not accepting the return or refund, techincian also could not do the trouble shooting even segate's semail id is also not avaibe. please beware of this cheating, this seagate externlhar drive and save your self and your moneyn when connected the windows did not reognised and failed to backup m computer !! I my self decidd not to buy anything from amazon. All products on amaon are ubstandard and not up to mark. Tke care wen buying anythingrom amazon !! Received the message from windows as Seagate external hard drives can encounter issues like not being recognized, clicking noises, file system corruption, beeping sounds, and device-specific error codes such oher Errors etc, file system faults.Everything is blank. I m already using seagate external hard drive without any problem for years but this 2TB seagate drive appears faulty and useless and want to return. and get refund but amzon demied, No use of Warranty issued b segae ? There is no sign of dexternal amage but suspect there is serious manufacturing fdefect . appears old item as it mentions windows . Thank You and goody !!

...just what I hoped for... I use this as a backup storage for my laptop. I teach a scripture class online for my church, and I have several power points. I'm able to store weekly PowerPoints with no issues. I have plenty of room to add many many more. I had no issues with the files transferring to the portable hard drive.

Lo encontré en oferta para mí Series S y me encantó. Si bien no sirve para jugar los juegos optimizados para el Series, si los puede almacenar, y solo los tienes que transferir a la memoria de la consola cuando los quieras jugar. Excelente opción si buscas una alternativa económica para almacenar tus juegos
