Got this for my HF shop crane. It is really well made with a smooth finish and nice action. What the ultimate strength is, is anybody's guess, it appears to be many times 1000KG. I lift machine tool components up to 1000 pounds, which is well inside the rating of this hook. It's nice to have the swivel for effortless maneuvering of the load

For the price this is a quality stainless steel clevis hook. I purchased two for lifting cylinder heads from cummins engines. Worked great. It swivels so it doesn't twist the chain upon lifting off the engine block.

I bought this as I am felling some trees and grubbing out roots. I do not trust rope with the strain that can be a snatch load so always use chain, this hook gets used for a multitude of task anf has taken over a ton of snatch strain as well as standing strain.
