Sci-Fi - action, comedy and philosophy with beautiful art
PUBLISHER KODANSHAPAGES 258MRP 850 RUPEESRead in typical Japanese manga format, this series is shorter in height than your typical manga. As with other volumes, this too is fast-paced, taking under an hour each to complete. There are 2 color pages in the start.Chapters 79 onwards are included. Anime season 2 has many big plot and story differences. For example, Tosaki not being on the list. The art is beautiful, especially the 2 page-spread landscapes.Since this was the final volume, the story was slightly predictable, especially since they provided a reference flashback in the very start.Happy with every character development and resolution. I was rooting for Shimomura and Tanaka since volume 12, which is when I sensed the chemistry and enjoyed the romance.Yes, romance. This had comedy, too. A rare sense of humor. And of course, action. It is a brilliantly executed story with captivating art.In the end, though, what do you choose to believe? Science? Or humans' hearts defying death? Philosophy is explored.All-in-all, Ajin is amazing. Glad to have this volume.

A Fantastic finale for a fantastic series.
While I’m sad to see Ajin: Demi-Human finally come to a close, I’m glad to have read the series. I originally found out about it back in 2016 from the Netflix series but started reading the manga in 2019 (I believe.)This is actually the first series I’ve collected and completed (physically.) and I feel that my money was well spent. The message that Gamon left at the end of the book was touching and it shows he wanted good things for the story but wanted to do what he wanted.I’m extremely pleased with the direction Gamon went with the story, the change in art style was wise and worked well for the story.I don’t wanna spoil anything for anyone but how the story ended didn’t leave me feeling sad or disappointed but a good laugh and happy with how the story came to an end.So thank you Gamon for giving us this acting pact series, it’s definitely one I would reread again and recommend to others.

One of the greats.
This review will be short and sweet.Of all the mangas i've read in my sizable collection, this one has stuck with me, similarly to how Berserk, Goodbye PunPun, Vinland Saga, Gantz, or other legendary greats has - so take that into consideration, though it's my own personal taste, similar sentiments usually are shared.Out of 10, this gets a solid 8.5, there were some pacing issues here and there, but generally this is a dark thriller worth getting into if you can manage to find all the volumes.

Amazing purchase
I loved this series from the first chapter. Just something about it made it so interesting that I couldn’t help buying all 17 volumes. For the price being a few dollars more than a regular volume, that was hectic but understandable as it isn’t as popular as a typical shonen series would be. Some of my volumes that came in had a little damage, but I’d blame the deliverers for that. Not too big a deal nevertheless.I really love the color scheme that the volumes have. It reminds me of My Hero Academia’s color scheme, but much darker and sinister like the story itself is. It’s relieving to have manga that is colorful instead of the cliche solid-colored ones.Moral of the story: Ajin is peak fiction
