The PowerA Wired Controller for Xbox Series X is a solid alternative to the official Microsoft controller, especially for the price. The buttons are responsive, the analog sticks feel smooth, and the overall build quality is surprisingly sturdy. Being wired means zero battery worries and no input lag—perfect for gaming sessions where responsiveness matters. The cable length is generous, so you’re not stuck sitting too close to the screen. The only downside is that it’s a little lighter and less premium-feeling than the official controller, and you’re obviously tethered by the cable. The Xbox controller is brilliant. Very easy to set up with the Xbox, the only thing lacking is the fact you can’t use it wirelessly, but with a couple of adaptations, it now works perfect.

Installation was just plug-and-play, Windows recognised it instantly and games responded as expected. No weird button mapping, no delays, no reconfiguration needed. Compared to my official Xbox controller there is a noticeable difference in build quality. While they look very similar in photos (and in your hands at first glance), the PowerA feels much cheaper, lighter plastic, less solid buttons, and a bit more flex overall. It does the job, but it doesn’t feel as reassuring or comfortable over long sessions. In terms of performance: • Buttons and sticks register cleanly • No input lag in wired mode • Very straightforward setup • No wireless pairing to worry about It’s a solid choice if you need a backup controller, something for kids, or just want a functional pad without paying full price. If you care about a premium feel or ergonomics for long gaming sessions, you’ll notice the difference versus an official Xbox pad. Not amazing, and not premium, but good value for the price and it works as expected. Tip - you need to wake the controller up when you want to use it, by pushing the Xbox button and the light comes on.

Best £15 I've ever spent. I was so tired of spending £60 every 6 months on controllers that ended up with stick drift. Now had this one 6 months and still working fine despite daily use. It now owes me nothing. I've now bought another. Will never buy a standard wireless one again. Cable is plenty long enough to sit anywhere.

Do not buy! Avoid at all costs! Extremely poor quality. I bought one of these controllers for my pc thinking it was an absolute steal, and when it came I was very happy. It's a heavy controller with nice rumble features and it feels great to the touch. However, the lb button stopped functioning correctly a few weeks after buying it. No problem, I order a replacement. This is now my second controller and once again the lb button has broken again!!! Additionally, the rumble features have intermittent issues on my second controller. The frame that is used to connect the outer button to the button on the inside is very poorly made. These are absolutely not worth buying, awful controllers! Use your money more wisely and buy a good quality official playstation controller.

Decent but headphones do not work on it. At first headphones worked fine but all of a sudden stopped working even thought headphones work on my other controller which unfortunately some buttons don't work on. This controller plays fine in other aspects

Bought one of these a couple months ago and it just started to break gradually, first the wire, then the A button and then the RT trigger gave out. Decided to give it another go and I have had this about a month ish now maybe a bit more and so far it’s working well

O controle ele tem uma fisionomia diferente do original do Xbox, mas eu achei ele bem confortável, talvez alguns estranhem no começo mas depois de um uso prolongado começa a encaixar bem, e é ótimo pra evitar ficar gastando com pilha ou gastar energia recarregando elas, aconselho pra qm quiser comprar pra jogar com um controle reserva ou algo assim.
