A great upgrade for the XJ Cherokee.
The bracket went in to the 2000 Chreokee XJ to replace the broken off plastic that the Chrysler installed. This is a nice sturdy mount. No fitting required. It dropped right in.

Fixes Wobbly Console
Perfect fit and completely restores stability to the Jeep J console. A little awkward to install but no fault of the bracket. Works like a champ.

Not a great fit. Had to cut and bend a little
Had to cut away a peice of the top leg that holds the center counsel so the plastic molded air vent would fit between the top legs for the center counsel. Not a great fit but a little hand bending and some minor cutting fixed it. Solid after installed

MUCH nicer than stock plastic, a bit tight for A/C duct.
Ah, yes, a firmer center console for the XJ... Pros - nicely built, coated steel! - fits exactly where it should, but for a few salvos. - solves the Curse O' The Wobbly Console. Cons - the rear a/c duct has to be jammed between the two upper supports. - holes for the screws on the upper supports are TINY, and screwing them in takes some doing. - the legs are THIIIS much higher, and the console gets a bit off the upholstery. This is aggravated by the tight fit for the a/c duct, because the duct then makes it harder to affix the console storage compartment. Which has screws to attach to the console itself, lifting it a bit. No biggie, but 2-3mm would help on the lower legs, and maybe quarter inch more distance on each upper leg. 4/5 would recommend. Oh, wait, I just did.

XJ wonderful
The Console in our 2001 XJ Cherokee always like many had the broken plastic stands that they screwed into to hold it in place. I installed this and it fit perfect as well as save the original screws because they go right back in. It fits nicely over the heater tube also. Great product Thank You for make this.

Nice finish poor fit
The item was nicely manufactured and finished, but the fit was poor. I began modify the item to work and used the old broken one instead because it would take too much for proper fit. I would not recommend this product until it is reworked and the fit is correct
