Grommet Tool Kit, 3/8 inch Handheld Eyelet Kit Manual Grommet Press Machine with 500 pcs 10 mm Grommets

This grommet tool kit is surprisingly good for such an affordable price. I’ve used it on tarps, vinyl, and even my boat cover — which used to blow off in heavy wind. I needed more spots to add bungees, and this kit did the trick. It punches clean holes and sets grommets like a charm. Everything feels solid and well-made — no cheap parts. The 3/8" size works great for most of my needs, and having 200 grommets included was a big plus. It was easy to use and didn’t take long to figure out. For the price, this kit definitely exceeded my expectations.

This is a very easy to use grommet and tool set. The functionality of this tool is amazing. It very easily allowed me to set grommets. Long and far away are the days when I had to hit gromits with a hammer - now I can just use a tool, like a modern human. The tool is extremely easy to use and comfortable. It feels durable and high quality. I like that it has a set screw that would allow me to change out the head for other sized grommets (sold separately on Amazon). The bag of grommets included in the set are also pretty good quality and I didn't have any issues setting them. The set also includes a hole punch so you really only need to buy this set to be able to start adding grommets to whatever you want. This set is really good value for the money and I would recommend it.

This is an awesome tool. Very easy to use. Packaging is very organized. The grommets are packed by size a long with their corresponding washers. Just make sure to separate the washers carefully as they are very thin. I mistakenly had 2 washers at one point and it made it harder to punch but I assume it was stronger when installed. Have fun. I put grommets on all my kitchen towels and used shower curtain rings to hang them better in the kitchen or on my belt loop.

Worked perfect for sizing down the pool cover to fit an above ground pool. Holdd well during storms and windy weather. Nice and compact for easy storage.

It appears to be well made. I have not used it a lot yet, but I did test it with a light terry cloth rag and I did not have to prepunch the hole. The tool neatly and easily cut through most of the material and made a very neat, strong grommet. The material in the hole was an easy cleanup with a utility knife.

This is a great tool! I have been adding shade cloth to my raised garden beds. Adding grommets where I want them is totally awesome! The only thing to know is that you can only put the grommet at max a couple of inches in from an edge. You kind of need to bunch the material up in the jaws of the tool to reach more than an inch in. I haven't found that to be much of a limitation, though. The tool cuts the shade cloth cleanly for most of the hole. It is a simple matter to trim off the remaining material. Also, the instructions don't really show how to put the bottom half of the grommet into the tool (i.e., which way up). Watching the video showed how to do it correctly.Others have noted that the bottom grommet halves tend to be stuck together. This is true. However, they mostly pull apart easily. If you can't get them apart, a box knife works wonders! The magnets hold the pieces of the grommet in place. They aren't super strong so the bottom half of the grommet can tend to pop out and fall on the ground. (Make sure it's in place before squeezing!)The only issue with the tool is that it takes a lot of hand strength to squeeze the jaws shut to join the two halves of the grommet.

Super easy to use and the grommets are professional quality. The hole punch was too big for my woven fabric which required some repair, so a word of caution is to start with a drill and a small drill bit to test the behavior of your material and size up until you can squeeze a grommet through.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Where had this thing been all my life? I own several grommet machines and these hand held plier style are by far the easiest to use, love them!! kind of shocked they don't sell more grommets to go with it.
