easy to cut, sticks securely to glossy surface
It has been over a year since I bought this mat material. just used it last night, after cleaning and prepping with gloss black rustoleum and a brush, stuff worked great. My friends used the super expensive type from another source spent $600 to do a mini truck race car. this was a cheaper option but worked just as well. I used razor blade for cutting and finished my c10 floor in about 2 hours or less. good stuff I would use it again

excellent all the way around.
It does what it's supposed to do. Excellent trade off between weight, noise reduction and installation. This works as good as some 80mil products and flexible enough to fold up and get into those hard to reach places. It cuts/tears easily, doesn't leave residue on your shears, easily hand tear as you go and it sticks to everything it's supposed to. Forming is easily achieved with hand pressure and doesn't require a roller all the time.

Perfect!
I am trying to do a camper van build and after watching videos I figured I needed some sound deadening material. The price was very good and I like the size of each mat. This makes it easy to cut and handle. Very sticky backing - it's not going anywhere! Really makes a difference when tapping on the metal walls. At least this is an easy job for the beginning of a camper build.

Decent product
This is a decent product in every way and i only gave it four stars on noise level because it’s thinner than other brands that i have used before. Those guys charge triple of this price for almost same square footage. If you really concerned about the noise you gonna have to put a second layer on top for the best result. Over all it’s a great product and you wont regret buying it.

Diffenitly not 50 SQ ft
Other then not being the 50 sq ft it claimed to be the product itself worked well and was easy to apply but it only finished the cab floor of a single cab truck that sucked

Works as I expected it to work. For a better price than many others!
I used this product to try to tame some of the noise and vibration in my 92 Jeep Cherokee... It’s an old vehicle so the factory sound deadening is non existent, so any improvement is an improvement over stock. While I had no illusions that applying the Mat66 sound deadening material would turn my Jeep into a high end luxury car, I am very happy with the results. There is a more muted sound inside the Jeep while driving now.

Works great
We put this on several areas in a mini bus we converted into an RV like the wheel wells, stairs and around the dash on the floor. It’s a diesel bus and was very loud. With these put down, the noise has been reduced to barely any. Very moldable and sticks very well.

Lowest price and no smell.
55$ for 50sqft of 50 mil deadener. Sticky as heck. Kilmat has a little funk for a bit but goes away over time but mat66 it is good from minute 1. Quality to price ratio is second to none. If you just have a simple 3k watt system use this stuff. When you have 4 subs or more with 5k watts plus then I recommend second skin with foam. No more rattling and better sound for 55$ enough to do your whole car or small suv. You won't regret it.
