Q: How durable is this board? Do the lines disappear over time?

The lines are painted on, NOT etched into the board as user 'mkc' had suggested. There is a section on the board I received, near the half-way mark where the board folds in half, where the black line is slightly scraped off. It's a small section so I wasn't displeased enough to return it. I can't speak to its durability over time, I've only had it for a month or so. The appearance of the board is woodgrain, however I'm pretty sure this is the same type of construction as Ikea furniture — particle board inside with a faux woodgrain sheet papered over it. The bowls appear to be made of real wood, though.

Q: What are the "stones" made of?

plastic, i believe a decent plastic, but still plastic also, they are flat on 1 side (Chinese style)

Q: What is the material of the "storage bag(s)"?

The storage bags were just a ziplock type bag inside the two bamboo containers. I actually returned this item because although it was very pretty with the carrying case, the box wasn't built correctly to keep the lids on the two bamboo containers. This meant that when you carried the case, the lids came off and the pieces went everywhere (you could keep the pieces in ziplock bags, but the lids would still fall off an bounce around in the carrying case. I couldn't think of a good solution for this. Maybe they've fixed this, but from the picture, it looks the same. Hope this helps.
