product works well on my refridge

After 3 years, my GE refrigerator had stopped cooling one evening - I would hear the compressor start up for 2 seconds followed by a click then silence. Based on that, I knew it was most likely the start relay or the capacitor. I didn't have the tools or time to test each one separately so I ordered both parts. One quick swap later, my refrigerator was back working. If I had to wait for maintenance to come into my apartment to repair my fridge, I would be waiting up to 1 week but thanks to Amazon and YouTube, I fixed my own fridge in a little under 24 hours.

Was purchased on October 19/2023 On January 7/2024 this part suddenly broke based on multimeter test.

It was great after I made it adaptable: I had an ancient GE water cooler and could not find the exact part, and this one applied to water coolers, refrigerators, and freezers The model numbers did not line up totally, but I bought it any way because the wires plugged into the same spot. Well since is was thicker I had to file down the base so that the holding bracket worked like it did on the original one, and then had to cut off that long Pinocchio nose looking protrusion so that I could put the rear cover back on the machine. But all that filing and cutting, the water cooler works great.. The original piece did not have this long pole or Pinocchio nose.
