Amphony Wireless Audio Transmitter Delivers the Sound !!
The Amphony multichannel Wireless Audio Transmitter (model 800) works GREAT !! I used it to hook up my Technics Stereo Receiver model SA - GX190 to two Pioneer CS-77A speakers. Clear and beautiful sounds are coming out of those speakers. New life for some good aged equipment. The speakers are hooked up with the Amphony Amplifiers (model 880), one for each speaker. The real beauty is sound delivery with out wires running across the floor, Thanks to Amphony and HiFi Corner !!

Too good to be true
I purchased this transmitter along with an 800 Receiver and two 880 receivers so I could avoid running speaker wire across two doorways. The concept sounds amazing, but the reality is that the equipment doesn't work as described when you live in an area where there are other wireless networks. When I hooked the equipment up, the speakers had a high-pitched buzz and the music kept dropping out. I consulted the troubleshooting guide and slowly worked my way through all of the recommended fixes. I relocated the equipment, I added surge protectors, I moved my wireless network to a different band (which slowed down my network and caused problems with the rest of my wireless equipment that took some time to resolve). I upgraded all of the speaker wire and re configured my stereo setup. But none of these fixed the problem, so I called Amphony technical support. When I described the situation and all of the actions I had already taken, the tech support guy said it sounds like the equipment is working as expected and that because I live in a high-rise in the middle of a densely populated city, there is just too much interference for this equipment to work. Unfortunately, by the time I got through all of the troubleshooting and equipment configuration, I was already past the 30 day return window. Amphony told me that no customer would want to purchase equipment that had already been in use by another customer for over 30 days. I honestly had to laugh at that. The equipment is cheap plastic like something you would buy at Radio Shack for $15 and the speajker wire they send is low quality. I'm out $300 and doubt I'll be able to sell this equipment on eBay. I'm sure Amphony was just glad to make the sale and it doesn't surprise me they don't want their equipment back. If you live in a remote area, this might work for you.

Great product
Works great, have this thing five feet from my router with no issues. Hidden behind a cabinet and streams flawlessly to speaker behind a wall. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because this operates on the 2.7 channel with no option to go to 5 - or any other channel. Which means that when streaming via bluetooth - you're screwed because the two operate on the same freq and it destroys the audio quality - garbled, broken, freezes etc. When streaming via airplay or HEOS, they work great and have no issues. If you don't need bluetooth, these are a perfect solution. If you rely on bluetooth . . . keep shopping.

Works for a while
When first installed it worked fine, for a while, then both the receivers lost pairing with the transmitter. After trying numerous attempts to re-pair with the transmitter, one receiver indicated it was paired but there is no sound coming from the speaker and the other just won't pair at all. I purchased a new one however the results a the same. I am reluctant to purchase 2 new receivers and accept buying all new equipment as the solution. I contacted Amphony support to see if they could help me out. They seamed more concerned with where I purchased them than helping me. I sent them the Amazon order number but that was not good enough so I sent them the Invoice. That's the last I heard from them. I would recommend you look to an alternative (less expensive) method because their support is non responsive. Or you should be prepared to buy new replacements every so often. Amphony is in the business of selling replacement equipment not supporting the items they sell.

Works well if no obstructions, but VERY line-of-sight limited
Part of me wanted to give this 4 or 5 stars because when it works, it's fantastic, and part of me wants to give it 1, because ultimately, I couldn't use it. Summary: On recommendation from the manufacturer, I have switched to the Amphony TX1, but the 800 produced a much cleaner sound with significantly less electronic hum in the background. The problem with the 800 is that it's entirely dependent on a line-of-sight connection to the receivers (at least at over about ten feet), which means even someone walking between them is enough to kill the audio. This is inconceivable in this modern era of wireless devices, none of which ever require line-of-sight to hold a connection (even small Bluetooth ear buds with limited range do better). With this problem, I can't see clear to give this particular component higher than 2 stars. But, do look for the other Amphony solutions. They work. Or, if you can mount everything so that there are line-of-sight connections, then this 800 transmitter may be perfect for you. Full Explanation My configuration: I live in a rural area, so there is no interference from neighbors. I don't know if that matters, but I have seen some reviews here with range or interference and suspect that might be why. I have an Onkyo AVR with hard-wired speakers for center and front L and R. I needed a way to get a signal to a smaller pair of Klipsch R41M surround speakers located on the other end of a room, about 20' and 30' away (one on the same wall, one diagonally opposite). Running wires without their looking terrible or spending thousands of dollars was impossible. I did already have electrical outlets near where I wanted the speakers -- obviously, you do need to plug in the receiver for power. I originally ordered one 800 transmitter and two 880 receivers, one for each surround speaker. After pairing them, which just took a few seconds, everything seemed to work. Amazing, right? Well, except when I moved everything to its final position, I found I had to ensure the transmitter and receiver were within line of sight, which complicated the layout a little bit. Still not too bad. Then I found that if anyone walked near the speakers, that also knocked out the audio (not permanently, just while the person was in the way). So it was fine for watching a movie with everyone sitting down several feet from the surround speakers, but if anyone got up and walked by a speaker, the audio would cut out while their body blocked the signal. For music especially, which treats the surround speakers as just another left and right pair, this was really bad. I contacted the company for support. They eventually suggested I try the black TX1 transmitter with the old iPhone mount (yeah, weird to include an old iPhone mount and probably the main reason I didn't go with that in the first place) instead of the 800 (as of this writing, that is not available as a stand-alone purchase on Amazon, but looks like the unit in the combo package at https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Amplifiers-Model-Better-than-Bluetooth/dp/B01ARM0VE0). Unlike the 800, this unit does not suffer cut-outs when people walked around them. On the other hand, the TX1 added a fairly loud electronic hum, which the 800 does not have. It's not so loud that you'll notice it much while audio is playing, but it's annoying if the Amphony system is on but no audio is playing. You can hear it anywhere in the room, about as loud as a refrigerator running -- not terrible, but not ideal. So, it's either use the 800 and have the audio cut out when people mull around, or use the TX1 and get a modest hum. Work-arounds and my final solution: 1. If you can put the 800 and 880 so nobody can get between them, true line-of-sight (like ceiling mounts), then there's really no problem at all. Just be aware that the 800 -> 880 connection is very sensitive to anything getting between them, especially at 20-30' distance. This would provide the higher audio quality and supports 4 wireless speakers via four 880s. 2. Switch to the TX1, as recommended by the manufacturer. The TX1 only supports 2 speakers, so if you needed 4 wireless, then this could be a problem. Then, if you have an AVR with adjustable volumes per speaker (I think most AVRs do support this), you can turn the TX1 volume down (the silver dial on the front of the unit), turn down the volume on your wired speakers in your AVR's setup system (where you can adjust individual speaker volume and distance timings to balance surround sound), and finally turn up the volume output to the Amphony-connected speakers in the same AVR setup system. This mostly eliminates the hum, at the cost of effectively lowering the total volume of your system. This is the path I took, having many watts of volume to spare from the Onkyo. 3. The manufacturer offered another solution to remove the hum involving opening the TX1 and making a change but said this would void the warranty. If it weren't new and still under warranty, I might try this, but option #2 worked well enough for me that I decided against this. However, if you're desperate to clear a hum, contact the manufacturer support and ask about this. The problem, at least for me, was in the TX1 NOT in the 880 receivers.

This is a quality device!
A *very* good device with *very* good support! I admit that I was a little concerned and had low expectations- my house is a ‘smart’ house - I have wifi and at least 15 different devices, plus Bluetooth, z-wave and zigbee and more. This device had *no* trouble connecting well to my rear and surround channels, and with zero interference! I did have a moment of worry, until I realized that my iPhone Bluetooth was competing with the line-in for control of one of the active speakers. I turned off my phone Bluetooth and problem solved; Had nothing to do with this device. I did pair it with a set of z-wave outlet controls so that it is not constantly on; I created a routine with Yonomi to power it on and off as a part of my home theater routine. (Including the lights, screen, av equipment and settings, and window blinds) I did reach out to support via email for questions and always got a quick response. They did tell me that this device should be a stand alone - operating more than one of their 2.4 speaker adapters will create interference. I am still waiting for a response to my most recent queations, but overall thry habe been very responsive. Would absolutely recommend. I can safely say that as a Prime power user for years this has been my most satisfying purchase in all regards.

Not perfect. but it works.
Not perfect, But it works fine. if you have many wifi devices using 2.4Ghz, this may not be the best solution for you. i have setup wireless speaker setup with these transmitters and Receivers, sometime they break the sound intermittently. i believe that because of the interference from surroundings.
