Works on ice shafts
Cut my old broken blade off my composite stick and slipped this in. Works fine for street puck

Works well; a good value
I use this blade as a replacement for a standard composite hockey stick that broke. I cut the broken blade off and this blade hosel fit right in. One tip, if you have a very tapered stick, you can also insert this replacement in the handle end, which is usually wider. I have only used it for outdoor roller hockey with a plastic Green Biscuit type puck, which works great. Not sure how it would do with a standard weight ice hockey puck. This blade has a solid ABS plastic core with fiberglassed wood laminated over the ABS front and back. It is very strong but, again, not sure how it would do on regular asphalt--I have only used it on a smooth (but very abrasive) concrete court. My blade did develop a fracture as one point, which I successfully fixed with super glue. I would buy this blade again. It is a value at this price. There's no choice in curve, etc. I don't care about that in this informal outdoor pickup hockey I've been playing, but might care if/when we go back (post pandemic) to indoor league play.

Dipped in a coating, not a solid street hockey blade.
I thought this was a solid ABS blade for street hockey. It is a wood blade with an ABS coating. It will work fine to start, but will quickly begin to splinter apart.

ABS Blade
Unfortunately can't use it for floor hockey, but still an awesome blade for street hockey. The blade is stiff enough almost like graphite.

Do not assume the blade pattern is the standard closed faced curve like the other Mylec blades on Amazon
Unlike the other Mylec replacement blades, this is an aggressive open faced curve. I wish it wasn't and wish they used the same curve template they did with the other replacement blades they sell. Instead we have a curve here that's shockingly aggressive, like an Ovechkin curve. This is not suitable for street or ballhockey players, who often struggle to keep the shots low. Your shot will end up 15 feet above the net barring an extreme change to your shooting style.Mylec, if you can see this - please let us know in the description if you're going to throw a crazy blade pattern into your product lineup.

Description does not match the product
The write up makes it sound like it is a acceptable blade for our floor hockey however since it is a wood based blade, I cannot use it for our league. The description should be more specific that way I would not have wasted my ,mponey on buying something I will never use
