It is light weight, fits easily in my hand As it is only 3.4 volts it is not a high power tool. It easily stalls under a load but is great for light duty projects like drilling small holes, etc. in wood or plastic and brass. I've added a 3 jaw chuck, which adds to the versatility of this tool.

I have only used this drimal twice a it quit working .. The customer service was prompt in handling the issue. I highly recommend this Dremel it's easy for me to use do to the arthritis . it's a Buy.

This is a very useful and easy to use tool. I wished i could change the spinning direction. Depending on your task and whether you're right or left handed, this option would be useful. A mild annoyance is that you have to click through all the speeds in order to turn it off or reach the fastest setting. Having a designated on/off switch and the speed selector. Still, for the price, this is a neat little device

I love this rotary tool! It fits all standard sized rotary bits, has good power for its size, and doesn't feel bulky in your hand. This is the third one I've bought. First was lost, second was a gift for my daughter for dollhouse making, and third was for me again.

Nicely designed, but ultimately poorly performing, fragile and disappointing. Definitely not the best of its kind. GOOD: Standard spindle size and threads (fits large variety of collets and addons). Nice design, better than generics. BAD: Very low power motor, will not spin when anything more than minor pressure applied (like most "4V" cordless models). Tiny Li-ion battery, true capacity unknown (size is only about 1.5 by 0.5 inch), runtime very short. UGLY: Stopped working after less than 2 years of moderate and safe usage (will not spin, strange motor noises). Inspection shows battery is charged (4.2V), very clean inside, nothing obviously broken, probably electronics failed or motor. These motors have no fans like corded models, perhaps that would help reliability. OVERALL: Avoid. Maybe just one bad or defective product from the otherwise fine NEU MASTER line. I will try a newer "8V" type next, and have reliable corded type for backup. VIDEO: Shows that the tool does not power on anymore (lights work properly, motor or electronics do not). UPDATE: Manufacturer responded, shipped another at no charge (rating increased for caring support). Facts remain, reliability and longevity still questionable.

After 6 months since i got it, worked initially. Second time i used it, battery wouldn't keep charge, after I charged it would just stutter as if it was trying to crank on. Not worth it

Sometimes you find a great value and this is it. If you do small crafts this is perfect.
