Works like a charm. Great Value, easy to use, and cuts the pineapple fantastic. There may be a little more waste than I'd like, but for how easy and time saving this is, I'll take it.

I of course was skeptical about this one. I hate cutting pineapples but love them. Since I hate cutting them more than I love them I stopped buying fresh ones unless they were pre-cut which of course cost significantly more expensive. So after hovering over this product for months with uncertainty I decided to take a shot and I must say it didn't miss.It is so simple to use. You just cut the top of the pineapple off and align the bottom. Of the blade with core and turn and push till you get to the bottom. Then you pull the handle up and the spirals of the pineapple come out easily. It's so convenient.The only problems I had are my handle sometimes doesn't seem secure as one of the push buttons to lock it in seems to push back in. On top of that sometimes as I am turning the handle to drill in the pineapple I can see the whole mechanism kind of sliding to the side and so the pineapple turns out cut not as even as you would like. You just have to really focus and maintain it straight.. And then some crevasses in the blade are hard to clean. You gotta get something to dig into them or pull the flesh of pineapple out without cutting yourself.But over all it is a good and convenient utensil if you hate cutting pineapples like me.

This product is amazing, I refused to buy pineapple tonight myself because it was a pain. Now it simple and takes less than 5 minutes. Love that it spiral cuts it, perfect for grilling!

This is the coolest kitchen tool I have ever owned. I used to prep pineapple by hand. It was difficult, time-consuming and messy. I was always afraid I would cut myself. Now it takes just a couple minutes. Not difficult to turn the handle. No mess. Pineapple comes out perfectly cut with no core and no peel. It was very inexpensive too. I love this item.

I hardly ever buy pineapple because they are hard for me to cut. I seen this gadget on amazon and decided to give it a try. It is so easy to use. Now I can enjoy yummy pineapple.

This little device makes cutting pineapple easy and makes very little mess. Just cut the leafy top part off, center the tube over the core and begin turning with light downward pressure. It makes a nice, even spiral cut from the inside without having to excise those little hard, dark bits of the skin from the edible part of the fruit. It leaves the core behind, and you can then squeeze the juice out from the "shell" that's created from the leftover skin into your cut pieces. It washes easily and still looks like new after many uses.

I had one of these before that broke after a couple years. We always buy fresh pineapples and I use this to remove the core out of the middle. This work great. If the pineapple is a bit over rip and mushy, then you have to push as you are turning the handle. That may be difficult for some that are weak or elderly. The cutter just won't grab the core and the handle will just spin. It is fairly easy to pull the core out of the rind. This unit come with a plastic slicer which I thought was worthless and then I tried it. It works surprisingly well. They are fairly easy to clean. They are a little on the cheap side, but if itworks for a year ot two, that's fine with me.
