Must have for Dexcom G6
I have a 8 yr old boy who has knocked off more sensors than I can count. I started using the shield about 3 months ago and he hasn't knocked one off since. It also seems to help make his Simpatches last for the whole 10 days more often. But when they need replacing it doesn't destroy the Dexcom adhesive patch and it's super easy to change them out.

If you wear Dexcom and the patches !! You need this for sure !!
We could not get my husband’s Dexcom to stay on. We lost so many. We bought, glue and over patches did not work either. We added this shield and the patches and have not had one come out since.

Not exactly sure why I wanted one, but I am returning it
I've only had to use overpatches a handful of times, but this on the surface seemed like an interesting device. Sadly, the fit is poor, I was probably closer to ripping off my sensor trying to get this thing to sit rush around the socket than at any when I'm not actually trying to remove it. I put my sensors on my arms and the plastic is too inflexible to maintain good contact both before and after putting on the patch. Speaking of the patch, the holes already in the Dexcom supplied ones and the other brand I had were too small to go around the device. All in all a big fat fail for my usage, especially considering that I don't have many problems using the sensor adhesive most of the time. #returned

Adequate
Difficult to put on yourself. The concept for the product is good to keep the Dexcom secure and it does. Ultimately the Dexcom seems to be the problem where it gives bad readings on the 8th, 9th or 10th days.

Saves your sensor for sure.
This is a sensor saver. The only bad part is it doesn't fit flush wthe transmitter.
