I got a device
The device does something. Instructions can easily be understood by pretending you're a chicken native to a far off country and able to utter the odd word or sentence of English; grammar not inclusive. Being in a different frame of mind and universe might also help.Once you input the password 1111, you are able to set the time, and other various things. There's a table of acceptible reading PPM in the "manual", <700 is good.

Short Battery Life
The Co2 monitor seems to work well although is hard guague the accuracy of the reading, but ok for relative measurements. The only problem is the short battery life - when fully charged it operates for about 8 hrs. OK the sensor is high consumption, but I cannot be sure about battery - is this not holding charge ? The literature could be clearer on these points.

Readings weren't believable and setup instructions weren't followable
Read 3000ppm when turned on, which would have pretty-much killed me if true. Calmed down a bit and read 430ppm outdoors eventually which was a bit high but almost believable. Instructions to initialize the device and calibrate it were not usable. CO2 reading up and down more-or-less when you'd expect it to, but actual readings were not believable -- went down to 450 when I opened windows and doors to fully ventilate garden office, then back to 1000 or so within a few seconds of closing them again, simply not believable, then went down again to a "safe" number but I have no idea whether to believe it or not. No use if I can't trust it and can't set it up: sent it back.

It works well , clear display and an alarm when you hit 1000 on the scale of CO2
Like - small , unobtrusive , long battery life, nice clear display , alarm you cannot ignore. Its so helpful when you're looking at ventilation levels in a large room , and you can see the effect of just opening a window so thats a nice reassurance you;re keeping a room ventilated
