13-Piece Mixing Bowl Set

This is a really useful set! The red mixing bowl is huge and can definitely hold double recipes or large salads. I love that it has handles and a no-slip base. I had no problem using it with an electric mixer, and the batter scraped clean with a spatula. It pairs really well with the yellow mixing bowl for baking...I use the red bowl for dry ingredients, and the yellow bowl for wet ingredients. The yellow bowl has convenient fill lines on the inside and a pour spout for easy transferring. Those are the only mixing bowls in this set. The blue colander is very sturdy, and I like it better than the cheap, thin one I have. The purple sieve isn't my favorite. It's larger than my biggest metal sieve, so it will definitely get some use, but I'm worried that the plastic mesh will fray or stretch over time. I know others say it's better than metal because it won't rust, but I've never had one of my metal sieves rust. I guess I will just be extra careful when using and cleaning it and see what happens with time. The measuring cups are nice, and I love how neatly they nest together. However, the nesting comes with one minor downfall. To accurately use a measuring cup, you scoop a heaping cup and use a knife or a similar straight object to scrape the excess off the top. In order for these cups to nest, the side walls (that connect to the handles) are higher than the true measuring line. This means you can't scrape across the top to get an accurate amount. If you just eyeball your measurements, then these are great, but if you like to be very accurate when you bake, then you won't like the 1, 1/2, or 1/3 cup in this set. The measuring spoons are awesome, and I have zero complaints. They're made of very sturdy plastic, and I love that each spoon has the conversion for milliliter and grams right on the handle. Overall, it's a great set at a great price. I love how much space is saved by having everything nested together, and it's really convenient to just pull this set out to when I need to bake something.

I recently moved into a new house and since then I have been looking for cute little kitchen supplies and these bowls definitely fit in well. Originally, I was looking for just mixing bowls just so that I can continue to bake my cookies, brownies, cakes, and pies but this set caught me off guard with now it includes the measuring cups and the measuring spoons. I was very excited to know that it is a 3-1 deal because I get the mixing bowls, measuring ups, and even the measuring spoons. My bowl set arrived a few weeks ago and since then I have used every piece in just my baking ventures. They are not only efficient bowls but they are also so colorful! I love how it all stacks together in my cabinet and it is so easy to store! The measurements are actually etched onto the bottom of the measuring cups which makes me more comfortable in repeatedly washing them because it will not come off. Although I wish the etching was maybe on the top (on the handle) or on the side, it does not drastically affect the product. My cousin saw this set at one of our bakeoffs and she now wants one so I might be ordering one more set just for her.

I'm 66 and starting over after a big loss. I have always insisted on the best porcelain mixing bowls, stainless steel measuring cups etc. But I can't afford those things right now, and in truth might not be able for quite some time. I ordered this set with some trepidation. I expected it to be cheap lightweight plastic and was pleasantly surprised! Very good quality at a very affordable price. This kit has everything you need to start (or enhance) your kitchen. Always works, goes in the dishwasher for easy cleanup, etc. I have made batches and batches of muffins, popovers, cakes, rolls, and on and on. This set conquered them all and shows very little, if any wear. Best part? Everything stacks together for a small storage foot print in your cabinet.

This is such nice set of cooking/baking tools. Perfect for someone with a small kitchen. Everything neatly stack together. Saving the very needed storage space. Originally I was getting them to give them to kids to play with at their play kitchen, because they are colorful and nice looking on the picture. When I received it, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material. If I don't already have two sets of everything, I might keep them for myself. The measuring cups are nice and smooth without any corner for stuffs to be trapped in. It is nice and easy to handle. Easy to clean. It would be a waste to be toys.....so I am giving them to a friend as gift instead.

I love that this set is bright colored, durable, and nests into each other so that they don't get lost, and you can easily see if something is missing. The ONLY drawback is that for me, it is very small. I like for bows like this to be large enough to make bread dough in and the dough has room to rise. I like to make things like rice krispy treats and Chex mix and Muddy Buddy mix. If I were to attempt those recipes in the biggest bowl, cereal would get everywhere! Other than that, this is a well made set, and it's pretty to look at!

This mixing bowl set is colorful, versatile and fun to use. The pieces are fairly durable, easy to use and easy to clean. The handles are a bit flimsy and the material gets very static, so herbs stick like crazy to the cups. The strainer has a hole in the center, it's bent and it's a little too flexible. It's not as sturdy as I'd like it to be, but I'm still giving 5 stars because I'm fairly happy with the rest of the set. The bright colors make me happy and this set allows my natural herbal product and supplement-making process to be even more positive than it already is. Yep, this mixing bowl set is certainly Instagram-worthy. You got your camera phone ready?

Had a room mate with a somewhat older and differently colored set of this nesting cook/bake ware. Since I was the one most often in the kitchen, I fell in love with their utility, sturdy manufacture, and their compact storage. The measuring cups are useful, if a little unwieldy( haven't had a chance to use the spoons yet, though they feel sturdy enough). The mixing bowl is perfect for homemade breads, The colander is great and can drain about three pounds of penne pasta at a shot. The sieve is quite functional for flour and other goods. I even made coffee in it in an emergency once or twice, boiling it over the stove in an emergency[just please don't tell my mother ;)]. The little bowl with the flute is perfect for beating eggs or mixing pancakes for two. All in all, a great set for the price. I would especially recommend for college students and the like who choose to cook instead of relying on restaurant food and frozen meals.

I bought this set because my two year old was showing interest in helping in the kitchen and I wanted to get something simple but real for her to use so it would last. Love that these are bright colors so she knows their hers and really thrilled at how they stack perfectly because they fit perfectly in a clear container we use to store her kitchen including other utensils. These would be great for anyone with limited storage space and my husband actually regularly takes the largest red mixing bowl because he loves the non-skid bottom.
