Definately a must have for chalk painting. I only use them for chalk paint and I never had them before. No shedding. Between stiff and soft...a perfect medium weight brushes. They are a must have! The price is right and quality is wonderful.

I have not used these yet. I bought them because I use the chalk paint and I bought it because I gotta do the spindles of my chair. Anxious to get it started.

I bought these because I paint a lot of clouds and fog. Love the way they work for that kind of painting but I spent far too long picking fallen out bristles off my painting.

I’ve purchased inexpensive wax and chalk paint brushes on the past and was always disappointed. Not so with these brushes. I’ve used these brushes to paint two seperate pieces of furniture and I have used one brush for waxing the completed pieces.So far, there have been very few bristles shedding into the paint or wax. I’m very pleased with the variety and the quality of this set and have purchased one additional set.With proper care, these brushes should last me for a very long time.

These brush are great! Easy to use and good coverage.

These brushes were much less expensive than most other sets, so I took a chance on them. Overall, they worked fine, but I did notice they dropped bristles frequently. Now, I never owned one of the more expensive sets, so maybe that's the way these brushes are. But I spent a lot of time picking bristles off my paint.
