Definitely used, but fully functional
I'm completely satisfied with the product. I received exactly what I ordered. I really like the price I paid and the 1 year warranty. The device is clearly used, but I totally expected that. Performance is fine; just what I expected. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and would buy it again. On to 2 minor nits: First, it arrived in 3 layers of bubble wrap packaging. It was fine, but usually items like this are shipped in boxes. With the great warranty, I really don't see a problem, but thought I'd mention it since it was a bit unusual. Of course, that's probably part of how they keep the costs down. Second, it came with basicly just a sheet giving you a phone number to call if you need support; no installation instructions. I really didn't need instructions but if someone was expecting the "full package" of documentation, then they'd have been disappointed. For me, I was buying an exact replacement device for something I already have so I was completely satisfied with the device and the lack of documentation. In summary, I was completely satisfied with the product and the seller and would buy it again. But clearly they keep their costs lower (which I like) by cutting a few corners when shipping and providing installation instructions.

Beware, it's a POS
New modem? Pffft, right. Useless on Arrival. Packaged like a refurb: no box, no quality instructions and/or quick-guide, cheap shrink wrap around the modem, power cord, phone line, and network cable.Installation instructions were POORLY printed. I cannot stress enough the word "poorly". One page of useless instructions, almost impossible to read and no booklet/further info. Just a quick-connect guide that was useless due to lack of readability and lack of information.Screw mounts (male) for the antennas were both completely loose. Easily fixed by tighting the lock nuts, but come on, COMPETELY loose. The WSP button was broken off and floating INSIDE the modem. Looks like a stain on the top deck of the unit, like someone spilled soda on it. Some minor dings, but nothing horrible. All four ethernet ports failed to work (tried multiple cables, cables that WORK with other routers). No ethernet = no internet (I run wired). I dug up a 15+ year old DSL modem from my box o'crap computer parts, and am running that currently while I order up a newer and NOT a techicolor modem.Buyer beware, this modem is a POS. Made in China really shines with this product.I'll eat the cost, not even going to return it. Straight into the dumpster.

Excellent working condition
Installed as soon as received. Checked by Century Link Technical Support and everything was working perfectly. No drops in DSL signal until now. I'm still having the slow downs but now I know they are produced by the Century Link signal: they are "spiking" purposely the download signal to a very high level and not the upload, producing a very bad result to the customer. I said purposely because they know what is happening but are using it to bait the customers to buy the new super high speed that is very expensive and unnecessary for me. What a shameful and greedy service!.I will post future reviews of the modem is they are necessary but for now everything is working perfectly.I consider it a good buy to avoid the $10.65 monthly rental fee from this greedy and corrupt company.

Bought refurbished, arrived in excellent condition. Great value.
My 15-year-old Zytel Q100 finally crapped out (a great run though) so the search was on for a new CenturyLInk compatible modem for my business. Looked at several new models which were more than I wanted to spend. I have this exact C2000T modem for my home service, which I had bought new at high price from CL (to avoid rental fees) a couple years ago.Purchased from the seller arrived promptly in excellent condition, looked new, included a length of phone cord and 5e patch cord. No manual, but everything is online anyway. All the router info SSID, login, etc., is labelled on the bottom of the device, which is always handy. Setup took 8-10 minutes. Plugged into the phone/active DSL line. CL screen came up on my iPad which walked thru the process. No issues at all getting computers, devices and WiFi printers up and connected. The modem itself has a decent GUI, reboots/connects to DSL reasonable quickly, and is pretty straightforward to use. Great value at what I paid for refurb. Would buy again.

Easy to set up and use
I bought this modem/router the first time and it lasted for about a month. I was in the kitchen when I heard a loud pop from the modem. I assumed the storm caused a power surge. I then bought a more expensive ActionTech modem thinking it would be better. Well, I had to configure it and reboot it all the time and the internet was much slower than when I had the Technicolor C2000T. I sent that one back and purchased another Technicolor C2000T, which seems to provide the quickest and most reliable internet. I recommend using a power surge strip in order to avoid having your unit bite the dust prematurely. I live in a remote area with download speeds of 3mbps and I can stream Netflix with no interruption.

Compatible with Windstream DSL!
Works great with Windstream (kinetic) here in central TX. The tech took a look and was unsure. We plugged it in and everything came to life with no hassle. The best part is avoiding the $9.99 per month lease charge for the Windstream supplied modem.
