This is a great board. The docs leave a fair bit to be desired, but it's SO much easier to configure and update than my old CR10 board, and SO much smoother and quieter in operation. A welcome change.Bear in mind that you need the TMC2209's and maybe also a third-party mosfet for your heated bed, if it draws more than 144 watts. The CR10's is 175+ for example, and many third-party heated beds are much higher wattage.

This board is a great upgrade for most 3d printers. I have fit it to my Anet AM8 and love the additional functionality that it has brought. The stepper drivers are amazing and reduced the noise of the stepper motors dramatically. I bought this along side the BIGTREETECH 3.5inch TFT v3 which also is a great product. I am unable to say how it has affected my prints yet as I am still waiting for my new BTT heat bed to arrive as my current bed is just do wonky to level properly. With how it is performing so far though, i have high hopes.(Update)Now that I have properly level print bed I am extremely pleased with this board. Quiet prints and a whole host of options for upgrading. I have upgraded to auto bed levelling which was nice and easy to implement on this board. Next plans are to swap out my x and y steppers for some of bigtreetechs closed loop steppers to make layer shift a thing of the past. Great support out there for btt products, love them.

Lcd stopped working the white screen of death after a couple of hour's using quick Google search its quite a common faultToday 27th July the main board died no longer connects to pc USB or octoprint tried reflashing marlin no joyThe mother board main chip gets very hot to the touchOrdered a second board and screen as I have all the wiring set for this board fingers crossed it will last longer than the last one if not I'll be sending it back for refund

This is by far the best upgrade I have done, the board has a lot of user support built around it with tons of documentation on the BTT git website so well done BTT for being a true open source manufacturer.ample ports and connectors and easy to follow instructions on all the pins & ports.Would highly recommend to anyone in the £D print community.

This is a fantastic board, though as many people who are into 3D Printing will know, it can be tricky finding a good seller.With things like this coming form China and other places, sometimes you get broken board and wonky MOSFETS etc which cause later problems.My board arrived in tip top condition pretty much, and worked flawlessly, though a few months in, an resistor went, this isn't uncommon and given how many components, if anything is going to go, it usually happens within 6 months to a year.The seller were very quick to respond and extremely helpful sending me an entire replacement board very quickly!I was very grateful of this and they have been excellent as well when I got confused with some of the setup and asked them a few questions.

the contents was looked at carefully unsure whether the firmware was installed ,or updated ,or anything ,having been caught out before with little support ,(hours of YouTube videos )decided to return the product

Unfortunately, this motherboard is useless to me. I could only upload the firmware once!?Wanting to re-load the system, the motherboard does not respond. I am not able to upload again. Is this a random problem?Hope the motherboard will be replaced.

used this on my home built 3d printer , works very well lots of nice features.downside , the instructions are not great but there is a lot of info online to help get it up and running.
