First of all, I freely admit that I am not a professional cake decorator. But I do enjoy baking desserts and making them pretty. That being said, these tips are definitely out of my league. But I look forward to using them to expand my knowledge of cake decorating.Using these tips will require a lot of practice for the amateur. Also, it is important to use a frosting or butter cream that is STIFF! If it's too soft, it will not work. Unfortunately, there weren't any instructions in the box. I highly recommend you look around online for instructions, tips, and demonstrations of how to use these tips.They are BIG. Much bigger than I expected. I was thinking like Wilton decorating tips size. These are much larger. Also, the connector thing is made up of three pieces that go together which is great if you want to use three different color icings, but annoying if you only want to use one.The bags that are included are not great quality. They get the job done, but they are not as good as others, like Wilton.Also, after perusing online briefly, I found that there is a very wide range of prices for these sets of tips. You can find small sets very cheap or very expensive. So I wish I had shopped around more, Even though I got these at a discount in exchange for my review, I could have gotten them cheaper through other vendors.

I am a big fan of baking. I’ve piped many a cake and cupcake and had never seen these elaborate of tips before so of course I was interested in trying them out.They arrived quickly thanks to Amazon Prime. The packaging is simple, a sturdy cardboard box. I removed the set and set about figuring out how to decorate with them. The set includes 6 bags, a 3-section coupler, and 18 tips. The tips are made well and the designs are very sharp. These are not small and thin like the Wilton tips. I think these will hold up well.The variety of tips is really good. I’ve only been testing these out for a couple days so I don’t have any fancy pictures yet but I hope to update the review with some great frosted products.I am not connected in any way to this company but I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. I use reviews myself when shopping online and I hope this is useful information for you. Don't hesitate to ask questions and I will update when I find success in my decorating or if there is a problem with the tips. Got my package just in time. We celebrated my sons second birthday this past weekend and I made cupcakes. I used one of these piping tips and it made it so much easier. The cupcakes came out great! There are so many options to choose from so it's nice to know I have this anytime I need to make cupcakes or a cake. And I love that they come in a cute little box. I'm very excited to try different techniques with these icing tips. There are YouTube videos I've found to help me get better with technique. They definitely require a stiffer icing to make the flower designs, so I'll be trying some different recipes. Here are some pics of my first try with some homemade buttercream that was pretty stiff. I did have to use a sturdier icing bag with the stiff icing than what came with the kit. I had a couple icing bag blowouts, even with the thicker wilton disposable bags, so I may be looking for some non-disposable type icing bags to try with this as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and to expand my cake decorating skills! I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

These tips make a great variety of flowers and designs, but didn't include an instruction booklet for how to make the designs?The set includes a tricolor coupler, which you could probably use all with one color, because there's not a single coupler. Or, you can probably use the tips without a coupler, but then you can't switch them out. Overall, I like the variety of tips, I'll just have to do some practicing to see what each will do.I received this product at a discount for my honest review.
