Adams Men's Golf Speedline Fast12

I bought this club last December and have been hitting about 200-300 balls a week on the driving range with it. I play with it on the course about one time per week since. Last week (mid April) I was hitting it on the range and heard a very high decible "BANG!" Everyone looked over at me and thought I must have hit it pretty good. I didn't notice anything wrong with the club and proceeded to hit the next shot. I saw sparks off the face of the club. I spark the club head pretty frequently with this club but this time the sparks were twice what they usually are. I took a look at the club head and saw that I had cracked the head where the face of the club is fused to the rest of the clubhead. I suspect I got a defective product but it still makes me question the quality of Adams drivers. I play with Adams irons and hybrids as well and can't be more satisfied with them. However, they have some work to do with their line of drivers. I sometimes ground my driver when I hit but that should just put the usual wear and tear on most clubs, not collapse the head. I store the driver in my bag and seldom practice swinging it at home. Even when I do practice at home it's usually on grass in the yard or on carpet. I can't think of any other reason for my exploding driver head experience except for defective design or manufacturing.

I was very glad to find this item on Amazon after ordering from the company and finding it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I received it. Amazon not only had it in stock, they also delivered it in just a few days instead of weeks. I have been very pleased with the feel and the additional distance I have achieved with this club although I have only been able to test it on the driving range. Since I bought it, it has been very rainy and so I have not been able to take it to the course. The sound the club makes when you hit the ball is a little disconcerting at first ( it makes a loud plink) but I got used to it after a few minutes. I would recommend this club to anyone looking for a new driver. It is available in many different lofts and I was especially glad to find an 8.5 degree since I have a tendency to hit shots high.

Seems like I hit this club awfully straight, only when I swing hard does it go off line and then to the right. I have lost a little distance but that could be a multitude of things. All in all I stay in the short grass, just have to hit longer irons in on the par 4's

The club sounds good hitting the ball, however the shaft is a little bit to flexible for me. Been using a stiff shaft for a long time and thought it was time to go to a regular flex shaft. I guess I need something in between this shaft and a stiff shaft.

Club arrived. The driver was labeled as "good" but I am some what disappointed to see there is a very visible dent on top of the driver. It probably won't affect the performance of the swing but it's an eye sore. Will take it for a test drive. The club also didn't come with a head cover. My local golf store provides head covers for used clubs. That is a bit of a disappointment for me.

I am a 15 handicapper and I had my doubts about this driver but I wanted a club with a lighter feel in the downswing for a faster swing speed and bingo!! this club surely delivers, I'm hitting it longer

I play between 88 and 100 depending on the course. I've tried several drivers (Ping G25, Callaway x2 Hot driver, Adams Idea). I have more straight and consistent drives with this club than with any other club. The Ping G25 is a very close second -- getting 5-10 extra yards but a bit harder to keep straight for me. I highly recommend this driver.

I use Adams woods, but, had not had an Adams driver for 8 years. This club is an exceptional value for the price! It is extremely forgiving and with a controlled swing, produces consistent distance and accuracy. I would highly recommend this driver for high handicappers and anyone who just wants to get out on a course and enjoy the game!
