Brilliant Adventure (1992 – 2001), the fifth in a series of box sets spanning his career from 1969 and on 7th January 2022. Exclusive to the Brilliant Adventure box set are BBC Radio Theatre: London, June 27, 2000 and Re:Call 5. The former was recorded two days after the famous Glastonbury performance in front of 500 lucky fans at the BBC’s art deco theatre in central London. Re:Call 5 features 39 non-album / alternative version / B-sides and soundtrack songs over 3CDs. Both BBC Radio Theatre: London, June 2000 and Re:Call 5 are exclusive to the box set. The CD box set will include faithfully reproduced mini-vinyl versions of the original albums where applicable, and the CDs will be gold coloured rather than the usual silver. The physical box set’s accompanying book of 84 pages features rarely seen and previously unpublished photos by photographers including Frank W. Ockenfels 3, Nick Knight, John Scarisbrick and Nina Schultz Terner and others, as well as memorabilia, technical notes about the albums from producers/engineers Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers, Reeves Gabrels and Mark Plati as well as a new an interview with ‘The Buddha of Suburbia’ collaborator Erdal Kizilçay. Brilliant indeed
Great collection of albums from a period in which Bowie was getting back into the swing of things and really getting back to what he was so good at, breaking conventions and breaking into new sonic territories. Sonically excellent mastering. My only gripe is that the faithful reproductions of the LP artwork on the card sleeves often has writing in font sizes that are so small that they defeat my eyes. At £74 this was an absolute bargain.

Perfect German Engineering
Everything about this beautiful box set is perfect. It's made in Germany so no suprise there. The 5 studio albums released between 1992 and 2001 were difficult to find on vinyl, or very expensive. Toy isn't available as a single album release until January 2022. The quality of the album pressings is brilliant. The 12" x12" book is packed with lots of detail about every album. The whole package is a work of art and an absolute joy

John I’m only dancing?
A lavish box set of modern Bowie albums after his “classic” period some I’m not familiar with , but I did enjoy them and the music grew on me , the 3 bonus Discs with the compilation of tracks were excellent lots of rare stuff there , the live at the BBC Concert is amazing it’s the highlight of this box set , lots to listen too great musical textures and something a bit different , I’m sure that you will enjoy it

Fantastic box set
Very pleased with this box set. Lavishly presented with picture inner covers supplied in addition to the standard white ones which is a nice touch. Well presented hardback book included. I've played all of the LPs from start to finish - no issues, good pressings and pleased with the sound. "Toy" seems to get a few bad reviews but I really enjoyed it. The live album of the warm up gig for Glastonbury is also very good. Recommended
