This book is a lot of challenging fun. I purchased it for my homeschoolers ages 1st and 2nd grade and my 7th grade daughter began helping them so she could “show them how to solve the learning opportunities.” The kiddos love this book, and it challenges them to exercise their critical thinking and develop the consistency and dedication it takes to stay after things (follow through) even when difficult. I recommend this book if you’d like to develop and/or enhance logic. Great product!

Would like publisher to know that my 7 year old found a mistake -- pg 69 puzzle says complete by not having four x's or o's either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The top right puzzle has 4 x's diagonally from the far right middle down to the bottom. She was confused on how to solve it -- but the answer key confirms that in that puzzle, you do in fact have to have four x's in a row.

Our smart as a whip 7 YO grandson loves this book and was going from page to page solving the puzzles. These are excellent learning toys that proved to be a great time for our Grandson to enjoy. This book series is very cleverly done and is always appropriate for the age group specified. Even if your child finds these puzzles challenging - it will provide excellent learning experience that by the end of the book will have added considerable skill and confidence for a child.

My 7-yo absolutely LOVES this workbook. I bought it for him to do a page or two a night but he has been wanting to do the whole book in one sitting! He has officially declared it "The funnest workbook EVER!" Definitely a good purchase.

Great brain exercises for my 8 year old to prevent the summer slip. Some of the pages are more challenging than others so we will walk through it together.

I dont know about abybody else but my kids have really struggled with critical thinking. I almost didnt buy thia because I couldnt see much of what was inside. Im so glad I did because its honestly even better than I thought. Warch the video for a fun lil tour of this book. ❤️ I love this book! It comes with so many different puzzles and activities. Even math isn't just word problems they are actual math puzzles that kids have to think through. Don't worry though there is an answer key at the back so you can make sure your kids are doing it correctly.

This book has a variety of fun activities to inspire your child to happily try and want to do more. A few of the activities may require parental help and support to encourage them to continue and or complete the activity. Your child will improve on their skills, build a stronger resilience, be more confident and broaden their logic and ideas. A fun way to learn!

This book is exciting and challenging in equal measure. It provides random thinking and mathematical skills and the language used is warm and encouraging

This book has a lots of cool thinking excercises presented in really cool way. My 6 yo son really enjoyed working with it.

I am a retired math teacher. I have been disappointed with the lack of critical thinking materials my grandchildren use in school (SK - grade 2) This book (part of a larger series of 3-4 books) was a true saviour for us. Not only it makes the kids THINK but my grandkids also ENJOYED doing the tasks/exercises/activities. (My grandson is 6, my granddaughter is 8). Mr Allbaugh (the author) has created (and maybe also collected?) a vast range of tasks - each more interesting than the other. The range of levels of difficulty is perfect: from the ones that would build confidence to ones that require patience and a few tries. Nothing tricky but nothing trivial either. If you care about developing your kids/grandkids critical thinking - do get this! PS: When a kid starts a new task I recommend an adult is there to make sure the kid understands it correctly and starts it successfully.
