Very affordable way to do your own quilting.
Because my sewing room is rather small, this was the perfect size. It takes patience to move the quilt around on the frame, but it is well worth the effort. A sewing machine with at least a 12" throat or larger is preferred. Mine is 12" and works just fine. I have been very happy with the ease of using the frame with my own sewing machine. I did buy clamps for the sides but that is the only accessory I needed. I would recommend this to hobby quilters. If trying to be a full time quilter you might want a larger frame.

Best money spent.
This little cutie quilting frame is awesome for smaller spaces. If you are debating whether or not to buy this cutie frame. BUY IT. Measure the space/table where you want to set it up!! The frame sets up quickly and breaks down just as quickly. Storage is compact, mine hangs on a pegboard wall when not in use and is not in my way. I set it up on a Sullivan foldable craft table and it fits the table. I use the lead cloth strips (sold separately). I have to advance the quilt alot, which is a PITA, but this is a compromise from lack of space and no long arm sewing machine to sending it out for quilting or hand quilting. This cutie quilting frame wins hands down. It pays for itself in the price of sending out for quilting ($2.00 usd per sq inch). I can now quilt my queen size and king size quilts with less hassle of trying to hold up the quilt and sewing without pulling, puckering, or bunching it up as I did before with out this frame. Before I was limited to only baby size, twin size, and full size quilts on my regular sewing machine. It is so worth it and has saved me so much money.

***Grace Made it right*** Rail caps broken on install, impossible to secure rail
Most of assembly is pretty straightforward, even with multiple amendments to instructions that are included separately. Unfortunately there is no instruction on how to open the rail caps for the back rails and on attempting to slide the rail into the holes, both rail caps broke as shown, top and bottom. Contacted Grace, who asked for email photos. I sent the photos to Lauren and have heard back nothing. Installed Sure Stitch and loaded quilt only to find that without those rail end caps secure, it is impossible to keep back rail in place or maintain tension on the fabric. I’m now into this set up about $1000 for something I can’t even use. I’m incredibly disappointed, as this is one of those big items that doesn’t lend itself to repacking to return. Apparently they do not support purchase of or replacing broken rail caps, so I’m out all that money, and the more I try to rig it up to make it work, the more it breaks. *sigh* Back to pushing around fabric free-motion to try to finish these quilts before Christmas, and time wasted trying to take it all apart to attempt to return. I could cry right now. I had the highest hopes.*************************************************************Revised rating after I was able to read Jarek at Grace, who was very kind and calmly looked at my email, requested pics again, waited on the phone with me while he waited, confirmed that he was sending new parts, and 2 day shipped them. Now I’m a happy quilter. Installed new parts today and already have a quilt loaded up on the frame. I know to be very careful with the take up rail caps now.

We finally got it where we want it. I got it in November but just learning how to operate it. Better than trying to afford a 3000 one. It work great!!!

Best thing I've gotten in a while.
I love that I can use my domestic sewing machine and totally finish my quilts now....and when I'm finished it tucks nicely under the bed out of the way!

Would not recommend - save your money
I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, beginner or advanced.1) It comes in PIECES, and even though the instructions are clear and detailed, it takes forever to put together - you won’t be using it right out of the box.2) The sewing area is SO SMALL. It is only 31” side to side, and 3” less than the distance from your needle to the back of your machine when you begin. This shrinks as you quilt more and roll the fabric around the frame. The bigger the quilt you are sewing, the smaller the area you will have to sew in - eventually, what’s the point?3) Rolling/repositioning the fabric is tedious/time consuming and not easy. It is a small fight to keep your fabric neat. If you are quilting a specific pattern, good luck keeping it straight as you move your fabric. It takes a ton of time to unclamp all of your fabric, reposition and re-clamp, only to be done sewing that section in a heartbeat because the sewing area is so small.4) Price games from the manufacturer. I bought this two weeks before Thanksgiving when it was on “sale” only to see it for $200 off what I paid for Black Friday/Cyber specials. I get it that things can be put on sale at any time, however I bought it when it was already on “sale.” It is made in China and just goes to show you that it has a huge markup to be able to play price games like that. This is a nice concept, but way too expensive for what it is. Save your money and put it towards an all in one long arm quilting machine. This will only disappoint you and waste your time and money.

Solid product.
Assembly was time consuming, but instructions were easy to follow. The frame is very stable. I was able to able to easily free motion quilt two baby quilts and one throw size quickly. You will want the stitch regulator if your machine does not have one. Very pleased with this purchase.
