Broken collar bone
I bought these to cushion the seatbelt on a plated collar bone but they were not soft or comfortable enough. I ended up putting them in the backseats since no one sits back there. They look pretty cool at least and weren’t expensive.

Comfortable on the shoulder
I got these mostly because seatbelts can dig into your shoulder. They are comfortable for my daily use but have not had a chance to use it for long trips yet. Also, when you unbuckle your seatbelt you have to slide the pad down so the seatbelt can retract or the buckle can get in the way of you closing your door.
