5 Stars – Perfect for Beginners and Nail Practice
The Makartt Peel Off Base Coat has been a game-changer for my nail routine! As someone who loves doing my nails but hates the hassle of soaking and filing, this peelable base coat is exactly what I needed. It’s so easy to use—just apply a thin layer, cure it under a UV lamp, and you’re all set for press-on nails or gel polish. What I love most is that it makes removing the nails effortless. When I’m ready to change up my manicure, I can just peel the nails off without damaging my natural nails or going through the long process of soaking them off. It’s been perfect for practicing nail designs, too—if I make a mistake, I can quickly start over without worrying about removal. The bottle is a generous 15ml, so it will last quite a while, and the formula has worked flawlessly for me so far. Whether you’re a beginner or just want an easy, damage-free way to switch up your nails, this peel-off base coat is a must-have. I highly recommend it!

It works pretty well
I just bought my first gel nail polishes and got this one as a base coat that I could remove easily. I applied a thin layer and that was enough. After 2 I felt some edges peeling off a little bit so I decided to remove it. First i soaked my fingers in warm water for 5 mins and then with the stick I started removing it. It was easy and it didn't damage my nails. I would recommend soaking your nails again if the nail polish is being hard to remove so you don't damage them. It's been a good experience with this product. My nails are pretty strong too so idk how this product would work on thin/ weak nails

Use as directed
This product works perfectly if you use it correctly. Follow the directions. It’s meant to be the base coat of a gel polish cured under a UV lamp. It doesn’t flake off easily or peel off on its own, so the longevity is good. It’s easy to remove with the sticks that come with it. It makes removing gel polish so much easier and safer.

Game changer
Works so good I thought it wasn't going to work at all.Still new to diy nails so I like to change my sets often (and sometimes they suck) so I picked this peel off base because people say it's strong and long lasting but easy to remove when you want to.EXTREMELY STICKY. And I got super frustrated trying to mess with it so threw on a matte top coat just for a bit of peace. Thought I may have trashed it with that but worst case I'd soak them off as usual.4th day, nails were VERY stuck. No budging, no lifting, NOTHING. Wanted to change them and settled in for a fight. Once I got the pusher wedged under the edges the whole thing peeled off with just a tiny bit of pressure. Bruh. Shook to my core. Took maybe 10 minutes to get them all off. Definitely had some more clean up to do but so east all around.Highly recommend!

Took some trial & error but after figuring it out, it works great!!
READ IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH DAMAGED NAILS! This was my first peel off base coat so it took a couple of times of trial & error to figure out how to use it best! All tries were with full cover tips and they all lasted a week before I peeled them off! At first I tried regular prep (buff, dehydrate, primer, regular base coat then peel off) and tried the hot/warm water soak off method. It took at least an hour to get all 10 nails off and left some of them damaged so first try was a fail. Second try was buffing and dehydrating, no primer, no regular base coat, used the cuticle oil removal method, still left some nails damaged but was a bit easier. Third try was a thin coat over a builder gel overlay, using gel glue to attach tips, they were easier to peel off with cuticle oil but took the builder gel overlay with them. LAST TRY was the best try; a coat of peel off over builder gel overlay, using peel off to attach full cover tips. This method peeled off SO MUCH EASIER! So for me the best option is builder gel overlay, peel off, peel off as gel glue for tips, removal witch cuticle stick. I hope this helps someone!!!

Usually works
When it works, it works well. When it doesn't it's a disaster. I used it a few times and the polish peeled right off when it was supposed to. Easy. For the most part, it came off in one piece. The last time I used it, it didn't work. One finger came off, the rest were 90% adhered to my nails and came off in tiny little chips, which was a bit of a disaster because I didn't have any remover to soak them off. It could have been my fault, maybe I didn't put enough on, but it seemed odd that I applied it perfectly on several other occasions, and suddenly I didn't put enough on any of my nails but one. I'd still use it, but I'll definitely make sure I have remover in case it fails.

Chemical Allergic Reaction
This product should come with a warning label. I used this product one time the first day I received it. By nightfall my fingers were itching and felt like I was having a bad allergic reaction to the chemicals in this product. If you have allergies this product is not for you. Big pass on this one guys.

So cheap and so worth it. Would get 10 of them if I can.
Best decision ever. Great for a beginner (me lol). Not glue based so it has a clear color. Smells just like a gel top coat and gel colors stick great to it. No need to buff the nail, all you have to do is an alcohol/acetone wipe to wipe oil on the nails! It does not come off in one piece tho. So far I do have to peel off in pieces but it’s not too bad at all and has not damaged my nails. Takes about 10 mins for me to take off both hands compared to the hour it takes for me to drill and soak one hand. Just make sure to not make it too thin of a coat cause then it will not work, make it too thick and it will come off easy. My nails have lasted almost 2 weeks but that’s just because I peeled it myself! It did not lift or chip. You want a great, cheap peel off for gel, regular, or glitter? I would def recommend this one!
