Back in the day when sport meant running and style meant sweatbands and velours V-necks, PUMA cut through with a lightweight runner made to race. Christened the Cabana Racer Fun and aimed at the most serious of runners, this shoe was built close to the ground to strengthen every muscle with breathable cushioning over the track and through the woods. Inspired by the Cabana, the new R78 Runner is hitting the heritage running trainer scene with full force. Driven by a '70s design aesthetic, yet firmly rooted in the here and now, the R78 takes nylons, ripstops, synthetic suedes and pairs these with unexpected finishes. Review: Quality - It fits perfectly and I love the colours, style, it’s comfortable and I have got value for money. Very quality and durable Review: Great choice - Great choice for looks and comfort. Puma size 10 is a bit more like a 10 and a half in other trainer makes

Stylish but narrow
Great trainers but be aware they are quite narrow. More narrow than adidas. I struggle to wear them for long periods and I’ve tried shoe stretchers but they still hurt my feet

Decent Everyday Sneakers, but Build Quality and Sizing Need Attention
I bought the PUMA Rebound Joy Sneakers for casual, everyday use, and while they look good and feel comfortable for basic wear, they do fall short in a few areas that buyers should know before ordering. Pros: • Comfortable for daily wear: The cushioning is soft enough for walking, grocery runs, and casual outings. Once broken in, they’re easy to wear for long hours. • Lightweight feel: Even with the basketball-inspired look, they don’t feel heavy on the feet. • Clean, versatile design: The simple styling works with everyday outfits — jeans, joggers, or shorts. • Good ankle padding and decent grip: Provides reasonable comfort and stability for casual use. • Arrived without defects: The pair I received had no marks, stains, or packaging issues. Cons: • Build quality is average: The materials don’t feel premium. You can notice it in the finish, stiffness of the overlays, and the overall durability. It’s fine for casual use but not very long-lasting or rugged. • Runs slightly small: I’d strongly recommend going one size up for a more comfortable fit. The size I usually wear felt tight in the toe area. • Not for sports or heavy activity: These are lifestyle sneakers, and you can feel the limitation in support when used for anything more than normal walking. Additional Notes: There is a short break-in period where the upper needs a couple of days to soften. After that, they feel more comfortable, but the build quality still stays on the lower side compared to similar models from other brands. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a simple, lightweight sneaker for everyday casual wear, these will do the job. Just keep your expectations realistic regarding durability, and definitely go a size up for the best fit.
