LS2 Helmets Valiant II Modular Helmet

It was well packed and came with a ton of accessories including a helmet bag and a helmet backpack, smoked lens, pin lock and a helmet support which I used to install the communication system without scratching the helmet..The quality of the helmet is exceptional and the engineering is brilliant. This is the lightest modular helmet I've owned and the release mechanism for the visor makes it extremely easy and fast to remove and install..Worth every penny!Love it!

OK ... I am officially "hooked" on this helmet.The design of the Valiant II is brilliant, to be honest. The manner in which the chin bar and face shield interact with each other is smooth and precise, much like the movement in a Swiss watch. It has the feel of quality. Shout-out to the sun visor .... a brilliant bit of engineering went into this design. I can tell. And by god, the sun viser is dark enough so that when you must ride towards a setting sun, you're not blinded by the Sun rays.Fit ... my previous helmet (HJC) I wore a 2XL. This was a snug fit on me. I decided to err on the side of caution, and "size up" to a 3XL when ordering my Valiant 2. I'm glad I did ... this is a perfect fit on my Oval noggin.Other Comments:I love this helmet, and it is really comfortable to wear, even on long rides. Good ventilation, and the pinlock really does work ... I'm impressed. Field of vision is excellent. Noise ... average, but I always wear earplugs. LS2 hit a Grand Slam home run with the Valiant II helmet. This helmet is extremely good value. Stop looking. I researched for months. This is the helmet you have been looking for.

First, order the next size larger than you normally wear. Still just a little tight at the cheeks for my preference.Buttoned up it's pretty quiet and warm and can crack the face shield open and locked at about 1/4 inch for air.Chin guard flips back 180° (Doesn't stick straight up like a sail) and can still drop the face shield or just use internal sun visor. When it gets dark I just raise the internal sun visor and drop the shield. GoPro mounted on chin guard gets rear view video when chin guard is flipped back (Upside down so need to right it with editing software).Sena has to be mounted a little further back to clear the internal visor up-down slide but installed easily and deeper speaker depressions made for great sounding music. Need to use the boom mic on modulars but works fine off to the side.
