Rogue 3-in-1 Flash Grid + Rogue Grid Gels Combo Filter Kit (20 Colors)

I bought the full kit (Rogue 3-in-1 Flash Grid + Rogue Grid Gels Combo Filter Kit (20 Colors)), and liked it so much, I immediately ordered the smaller kit with white grids (Rogue 3-in-1 Flash Grid System with White Grid Inserts & 3-Gel Set). I found the white grids diffused the light too much, I tried mixing the white and black grids, but the light was still too diffused; however, I see possible creative uses for white grids and the mixed black and white grids. So I ordered a set of replacement black grids from the seller's store (not available on Amazon). All-in-all, I can use this light-weight light modifier with my (much) older flash that's too cumbersome to use in a soft box or with an umbrella AND it gives me light control I haven't had before.

OMG one of the very best things I ever added. I do a lot of photo shoots at the beach and on cruise ships. This flash grid with gels work amazing. I love how the sky and water just pop with amazing color. I highly recommend this product. Easy to use, stores perfect in my bad as well.

This is a great product and I have been having a blast experimenting with it. The snoot gives you an adjustable gridded spot light so that your light will go just where you want it and nowhere else. The gels are so fun! You can use the colored gels for creative lighting effects or the corrective gels to improve the look of your photos. I've bought two kits and I might get another.Update: I was about to buy another kit today but the price has gone way up. I got my other kits for $54.95. I guess I will wait for the price to come down.

If you use speed lights, this is a must have product. I just bought a third one (fourth, actually...lost one, which I'm sure will turn up one day). I used the previous two I already had to light up the backdrop, for a little added dimension. I picked this one because of the number of gels, which are custom fit. Easy to use. No complaints. If your budget allows, I say get one for every speed light you have.

I bought this thing because of all the great reviews but honestly it's ok at best.It's great to have all of the color choices but this whole thing is clumsy and loose. It feels like it will fall off with even the slightest amount of movement.It also has a weird attaching method which allows a lot of light to spill out of the backside.I expected more for the price.

I love this grid. Total control of the lights' direction and the colored gels makes some creative pictures. Instead of faking it in LightRoom or Photoshop you can create it in camera. I set up two Nikon SB700 Speedlights on stands each with their own Rogue 3-in-1 Grid and gels and snap away. They work great when I'm trying to light paint as well. For anyone who owns speedlights this is an excellent accessory to have with them.

Fantastic piece of kit performs amazingly, I wouldnt be without it now!
