Hanes Men's Max Cushion Low Cut Socks, 6 and 8 Packs

I did a bunch of sock research which is ridiculous to even say… Unless you spend 15 bucks a pair you’re not going to get a “premium sock”. That said, I did my best to find a sock that is seated at the ankle and felt more cushy and this seems to be it. Will it last? I have no idea… is it 6x cheaper than the “premium stock”, it is… so why are we still talking lol?

A reorder of sorts. Had switched to another brand, but these wore out quickly. Switched back. Expect decent life out of these. Retired - it's the only type of sock I wear 7d/wk.

So I am a bit of a brute, oh not in the way of a huge NFL defensive lineman, or in that I'm 6'5", no nothing in that vein, however much to my wife's chagrin I will wear my socks, or bare feet, pretty much anywhere. Now I am speaking of around the house, I will go get the trash can in my socks, walk out to the garden and check the progress in my socks, or just wander around the house, of course, in my socks. I feel very comfortable wandering through the sojourn of my life in socks, I of course wear shoes, usually one of the pairs of Oboz that I own. However for me I feel the most comfortable in socks or nothing at all, so what exactly does this have to do with a sock review you may be asking.Well after years of going through socks at a rapid pace, one year my wife bought me a bag of these for Christmas, and what a fortuitous day it was, praise you LORD!! So unlike the white, unpadded socks I had been using for decades, these bad boys actually held up to my abuse, maybe even relished in it. These socks last and last, no matter the abuse I throw their way, they don't buckle under the pressure. Don't think I have ever had a hole in pair of these, no rips, no tears, about the only negative thing I can say is they loose their elasticity to a degree over time and with much abuse.My most recent purchase of these were a little different than my previous purchases, the padded bottoms use to be a medium gray and these are closer to a charcoal. Now your thinking what does this unsophisticated barbarian care about color, he wanders around the garden. in his socks for goodness sake! Well the there is a bit of a difference in the material and I prefer the medium gray bottoms, however these are very good as well and look to hold up just as well.In all, these are a wonderful, reasonably priced pair of socks that will live up to the abuse you put them through and keep on going, in a world that is increasingly producing throw away products, these socks hang in there.

I have been buying Hanes for my son since he was little. Since all 3 guys in my house where near the same size, by one wearing these helps socks not get mixed up in the laundry. They wash and hold up very well. He outgrows them before there are any thinning or holes.
