Very. Tiny. Tablets. Do not sneeze lest you send it flying out of your hand never to be seen. Very small bottle but very small tablets. Reviews feel consistent to me - at first the "licking dried blood" taste is minimal. But whoa, Nelly! Once swallowed, it can have a powerful iron taste. I followed a reviewers advise to take with a large glass of water or something. I drink with a full glass of water and chug it. Do not stop. Do not pass Go. Just pop in mouth and drink 500 ml of water at least. Maybe if you are lucky, 200 ml - but hey, hydration is important! I have, over a short period, found these far more effective than the larger ferrous female tablets my GP prescribes on the NHS. From experience, I find the NHS tablets larger, not nice to swallow, a bit constipating, and it seems to take longer for the iron to build up again and be usable. I have only taken these a few days and DANG, I already feel a bit clearer and have a tiny bit if energy again. A tiny bit is very noticeable when you have been suffering iron defiency anemia (and for me, abnormal haemoglobin/red blood cells.) It claims to be more bioavailable which I believe from my limited experience. It beats the liquid stuff (argh so nasty) and it seems to be out performing good ol ferrous fumate. I doubt I will need to update. I can say even in a short period, the result is noticeable. Value for money and the claims seem legit so far. Just drink plenty of something to make sure you have cleared it down to the stomach or you may well have a lingering nasty taste. Easy to fix just by drinking more than a sip or mouthful.

Good size tablets, easy to swallow. Slight metallic aftertaste but not too bad. Iron is absorbed better when consumed with vitamin c so I also take with fresh orange juice. Absorption is affected by tea, coffee and dairy so avoid this for a couple of hours either side of taking them. I’ve been taking for a few weeks and noticed that my restless legs have slightly improved. My ferritin level was low but not deficient so I’m taking these to try and improve my ferritin level. I was experiencing eye twitch beforehand which has stopped, brittle hair and nails which will take longer to improve as I believe my ferritin level needs to be over 50ng/ml to improve them , currently 21 ng/ml so a bit of a way to go yet.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much, but these iron tablets turned out to be pretty good, and having 400 tablets means I’m set for months. I’ve felt more energetic and less dizzy since starting them. They’re a bit chalky, and smell funky! but nothing unbearable. For the cost and quantity, they’re definitely worth it.

Il s'agit d'un flacon contenant 400 tout petits comprimés, faciles à avaler et très digestes. J'avais besoin de prendre du fer en supplément suite à un manque de fer sérique lors de ma dernière prise de sang. Je ne voulais pas de Tardyféron, et mon médecin non plus. J'ai donc choisi ces petits comprimés, dont je suis bien satisfaite car depuis que j'en prends, ma ferritine est bien remontée. Contrairement à certains médicaments contenant du fer, ce produit-là ne constipe pas. La ration est de 2 comprimés par jour, à avaler avec un verre d'eau, pendant un repas. Une ration apporte 28mg de fer. J'ai commencé par 1 cp/j, pour que mon organisme s'habitue, pendant une semaine. Pour lire la notice en français, il suffit de décoller un peu le papier sur le flacon, c'est très pratique. Comprimés vegan, sans OGM, sans stéarate de mg.
