The clamps are horrible I like the ones that use bolt heads theses you have to use a Allen Key . When you get it on its extremely tight so it's very hard to close/open . It doesn't have a seal like one I've had before so there's a gap at the front and water comes in . Overall I wouldn't buy this one again

This is NOT Jeep specific. We had to make a lot of modifications.a. The hold down hardware for the rails does not work with the Jeep Gladiator. I had to bend the brackets in a vice and add longer M6 bolts with spacers made out of pvc pipe (1" or more) to lock down the rails.b. Either the rails were too long or the vinyl too short, but the latch mechanism was very tough and even broke one of the tangs on one of the rails. I cut 3/8 inch or more off the forward part of the rails and the latch mechanism worked like a charm.c. One of the lock pins was sticking out too far and could not be adjusted so I added circlips in the mechanism to get the right length. Also had to file the ramp on the rails more so the lock pins would go down to the engagement part without hanging up.d. There are two cross bars that are nice, but they are exactly where the M6 bolt/hold down mechanism goes so I had to skew things a lot to get the cross bars to not hit the hold down bolts.Took two days of labor and manufacturing to get the unit installed, but now it is nice and it rolls up easy and unrolls easy.
