Good quality
This is a very deep, and heavy acrylic tub. The deliver service was great and we had very respectful and professional delivery people. Be prepared that it is quite difficult to lift it into the opening. It’s heavy. It suggests a professional (or two) to install this tub, and if you are a first timer that’s the way to go. My only complaint about the install was really just more of a learning curve. The space underneath the tub requires a LOT of mortar. It will need to be thick so it does not flatten out. We needed 150 pounds of mortar to make contact with the bottom of the tub. There is a pretty large space between the floor and the underside of the tub. The only other issue was that the locking bolts had to be really tight or the feet will come out of level. Other than that this is an excellent bathtub. Highly recommend so far. Quite slick, but so easy to clean.

Great tub and great packaging!
I'm going to give this a very cautious thumbs up review with the caveat that I haven't even installed it yet. For starters, the packaging was first rate - vastly superior to every bathtub I have ever bought. The whole box was made of a corrugated cardboard that was over 1/2 inch thick, and they had also strategically placed plastic corner protectors. In addition a nice plastic film covered the skirt. Inside it appears flawless. The reason I'm dwelling on the packaging is that almost every single tub I ordered from the local box stores came in flimsy cardboard and were already damaged, so its nice to see that this company gets it right. The tub is unusual in that its really an "above the floor" type drain, around 3 1/2" off the floor, which can make installation a lot easier, allthough because of that it might not be as deep inside as you were expecting as another reviewer noted. Its a little more than 30", which means you are going to have to offset the plumbing a little. Its also free standing - you don't brace to the walls or anything. Mine came with two adjustable feet on the inside and the outside is supported by the apron. So basically you just slide into the alcove and you are done.I must have literally spent a week searching for a 30" soaking tub, so I was happy to find this and the free Amazon shipping sealed the deal. The shipping was also perfect and it arrived quickly by truck.Updated: I finished the rough in and tested the tub by filling it with water and using it. For a 30" alcove tub it really is very comfortable. It seems a bit narrower to than usual, so for larger persons keep that in mind. The adjustable rear feet made setting this tube idiot proof.Standard drain kits and moen faucet fit as expected.

Visually appealing but lousy build quality.
I had to return my item. The undersides of these tubs is supposed to be thoroughly and evenly coated with resin. This resin when dried provides the tub structure with strength and durability.Unfortunately on mine there were areas on the underside and side wall where I could actually see the outline of my hand through the sidewall. This is completely unacceptable, and I don't understand how a quality assurance team can allow such a defective product to pass it's in house quality check. I'm not the only reviewer that received a tub in this condition, and I would implore the manufacturer to double and triple it's resin coating or review it's coating procedure to avoid further issues. If you think renovating a bathroom is expensive, try renovating and then removing a faulty tub and re-renovating again! So thankfully Amazon and the company stood by the return and credited me but there is no such thing as "free time" for a contractor so I will still take a loss on this transaction, so learn from me when I say unless the quality assurance team and manufacturing process at Kingston is improved be wary from ordering this product. My contractor has never seen a tub with such a bad coating job and I'd have had to sign a waiver clearing him of anything related to any problems that may arise from this product if he were to install it for me.I gave it one star because visually it is a very nice design, but design without functionality is non practical.

Deep soaking tub will fit in small spaces
I worried about ordering this tub based on the reviews. We have a small guest bath that needed updating. I was looking for a clean timeless desgn that would not go out of style in a few years. I wanted a deep tub, but we did not have the 32-34 inch width that most soaking tubs require. So, I took a chance and ordered this tub from Amazon. It arrived on time, undamaged. One of the balancing legs was not quite right - but I wanted it to sit in mortar - so this was not an issue for me.My contractor sit it in mortar and it feels solid. I do NOT think I would skip this step. Yes it is more work and costs a little more, but this is a fiberglass tub. It is not a steel tub, you can feel the flex. Even if you have light weight people, when you put water in the tub it is heavy.Go ahead buy the tub - just sit it in mortar. It is comfotable, it is not super wide - but again it is what I would consider a "compact" soaking tub. It is deep and there is a significant height to step out of it - so double check your measurements. I knew exactly how high, how deep and I was comfortable with those measurments.I am 5'5" and do not have any issues stepping out of the tub. It has a nice clean line, we put crema marble on the walls and it has a spa like feel to it - exactly what I was looking for.Just double check your measurements, you will more then likely have to move some of the plumbing UP - but that is needed for the depth. Be sure to set in mortar and you will more then likely be happy with the tub.I was a little worried about it - but it is beautiful.
