Hydro Flask Insulated Mug for Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate - Leak-Resistant Lid, Keeps Drinks Hot

This is without a doubt the best mug I have ever owned. It is well built, feels very solid all around, and the insulation is incredible. If I keep the lid on, a hot drink poured in the morning will stay warm all day and the outside surface never gets hot.The lid is rubberized and grips well, enough that it definitely won't come off on its own while still being relatively easy to open with a small tab sticking out.The underside is slightly grippy, enough that the mug won't slide on a marble countertop or glass table, and similarly the handle coating has enough friction that the mug won't tip and spill even if you have wet hands.The lid can be taken apart in two pieces and put back for cleaning, and there aren't any places that are hard to clean or where food would stay stuck.The only "downside" I would call out is that the mug does not fully seal even with the lid closed, there is still a small gap where liquid can flow through. This means you cannot use it as a small alternative to an insulated water bottle: do not place it in a travel bag with liquid inside, the "closed" lid only protects from spills when you walk to a different room with the mug, it will not hold its contents while traveling.In summary: this mug was clearly designed with great attention to detail, and its insulation is like no other. I wish I had bought one earlier.

Great size. Function is the key. No leaking and keeps coffee hot. Tight seal. Can take it in car with me not loosing a drop.

I love this perfect price, I bought this for $20 not too bad at all. It feels so amazing to hold and the appearance is very sleek. It keeps my tea hot for so long it stays so hot I have to take the lid off for it to cool down lol. I purchased a 12 oz mug and it’s so easy to use, I love all of my Hydro Flasks. The best portable mug ever sold on Amazon. The seal is decent if you hold it upside down It will leak a bit but the lid won’t pop off or anything outrageous it will work for you and not randomly spill on you. Happy shopping!

This is a great mug. Keeps things hot hot hot! However, it would keep it hotter longer if it were not for the tiny pinhole in the lid that allows you to drink when you slide it open. This is much easier to explain when you see it it, but . . . I've noticed on other lids, that hole is completely covered when you slide the larger part where you sip closed. They do this by putting the pinhole in the middle instead of the opposite end of the big opening. The slider "button" itself has another hole at the top so when it slides open, the pinhole and slider hole are aligned. Air gets through. With this mug, a little heat gets out at all times since that hole is always exposed. However, it does a good job for what it is. Lasts way longer than a non-insulated, covered mug.The worst part is that this WILL SPILL if tipped! So for a travel mug, it's kind of silly to not have a non-closable hole. Massive oversight. Huge.

I'm 55 years old and it's taken this long to find the perfect coffee cup! It may not be your perfect travel mug for riding in the car but for sitting at home or in the office it is an exceptional cup. It keeps my coffee piping hot so I can sit and enjoy it at my leisure without it cooling of one bit. You can literally run around the house for an hour, taking care of chores, and when you realize you forgot about your coffee and return you better be careful because it's the same temperature as when you poured it. As for the lid, the hole is large enough for the liquid to flow into you mouth without bring restricted by a tiny pin hole like typical travel mugs. Just go ahead and buy it!

I use this mug everyday. So far it maintains the heat for a long time. It is well made. I have no issues so far. I will purchase another one soon.

Very durable product that is a must have in our house. My husband uses this daily and it keeps his coffee warm for hours.

I bought this mug for my husband because his coffee was always getting cold since he takes so long to drink it. He was thrilled that this mug keeps his coffee hot (!) for as long as it takes him to drink it which is always way over an hour or more. And the top for this mug has an easy slide to open it unlike other mugs like the Yeti which is too difficult to force open.So I recommend this cup. I just wish they had one that held 16 ounces with a handle; I would buy one for myself.
