So much fun!
We got this for our 9 year old for Christmas. It is so much silly fun. One minute you're hiding under the table and the next minute you're running trying to find something to wear as a hat! My nephew chose a footstool! 😂 Great fun!

Pretty good. Lots of rules and instructions but playable...
I grew up watching the original Jumanji movie so I was actually pretty excited to play this with the family. Definitely takes a while to familiarise yourself with the rules of play and understand what all the cards are for - a bit overwhelming at first - but I think it’s decent with the playability once you get into it.The game definitely assumes you are in a home setting because it gives you a series of real world tasks like going to get a glass of water or doing a handstand before the timer runs out. I guess whether you’ll enjoy it (or just find all the riddles and tasks a silly waste of time) will depend on who you’re playing it with, whether everyone’s up for taking part and the dynamic you all have with each other. You can easily apply common sense to simplify the game to make it less “demanding” or to accommodate for younger children. All the pieces are nice quality but I do think the instructions would have been vastly better printed on a proper board instead of a flimsy sheet of paper (because you have to refer to them a lot!) - worth laminating if you have access to a laminator. Not bad. Lots of rules and instructions but playable - and enjoyable for those willing to commit and "play properly!"

Amazing
I wasn't sure what to expect from this game but it turned out to be really fun, engaging and imaginative. My kids loved it. If you have a big family this is the game for you. Enjoy the beautiful chaos.

It’s fun
The game is good for kids who might struggle with long board games and it encourages team work as everyone wins together and loses together. The cards that you take from the deck often encourage a physical or story telling activity to be undertaken by the player which can be entertaining.I found that for kids aged 5-9 it was really enjoyable, older kids might not like it as much as the game does end quickly each time.

Different versions?
Whilst we did enjoy this game, I appear to have been sent a completely different game version. My version has no real world tasks and just relies on dice rolling to escape the dangers. If you fail then you place the card on the board. Once all the slots are full you lose the game. First player to the centre calls out Jumanji. Kids age 7 and 10 loved it. Adults enjoyed it too, though it’s very simplistic. It’s nice and short and fast moving. I’m not sure if this is an updated version or an older version.

Looks like fun
Brought as a gift for a friend, she loves it and having only a look at the box contents at this time, it looks like it could be a fun game to play.
