Great to be your email ect accounts safe, for only 19 pounds,, cheap as chips and works a treat

I wanted to try FIDO2 security and this key looked like a great cost effective introduction.It works great and works well many websites, including with Google, Microsoft. Also great with my password manager.It is relatively small and compact and fits on keys OK. The app you can download is a little basic, but is not really required.Areas to be improved to gain 5 stars:Only outer cover is aluminium, actual device is plastic.Only has memory for 50 keys, some (more expensive) competitors have 250. However I can't see this is going to be any issue until many more websites start using it.

If you just need a simple FIDO2 key, then this just works. It's simple to setup and doesn't pretend to include fingerprint detection /bluetooth etc. Just type your code in (that you chose) and press the button on the USB 'stick' and it authenticates that it is 'something that you have'.

I should have researched more before buying.Currently very few websites support Thetis FIDO2.Personal I can only use for Google for supported sites.Sites supported taken from Thetis website Dec 2022Google, FB, Dropbox, GitHub, dashlane, Twitter, Bitbucket, bitwarden, Gitlab, Fastmail, BITFINEX, 1Password, SENTRY, namecheap, porkbun, dmarcian, olta, coinbaseFor Linux use it's not plug and play you need to do some terminal work to use.

It works with everything that it's designed to be compatible, that I've tried so far, and it works great! Down sides, which is not a fault of this vendor, but needs other integrators software wise to further expand its usability. With those compatible integrators, I was surprised that it even works with mobile Auth, because I didn't expect that to work from what I'd read before purchasing this item.
