When a cabinet reads "locking" it should actually LOCK! I want to display my coins, but being expensive, I wanted one that locked. When writing this same scenario to the seller, I was just told..we don't make them with actual locks. Well, then don't describe it as if it did! Not very customer-service oriented when they don't account for their mistakes.

I purchased two of these display cases for a gift for my husband for his knife collection. The cases look nice and go well with my decor. However when we tried to open them to put the knives inside the screws on both of the latches flew off. If it was one, I could see where it was p possible over site. On both, it is just not put together well at all. Since I already unboxed them and tossed all the packaging, we are going to try to find a way to work with what we have. We tried taking the latches off completely, but the doors just swing open. We are going to try magnets to keep them shut. We don't really need them to lock, so not having a locking latch is fine. When you purchase 2 new items, you really should not have to play around with them to get them to work properly for you. They were not exactly cheap. I hope the hinges hold up and we don't have a problem with those screws flying off in the future due to opening the door to add more knives to the collection. Really not very impressed at all, more annoyed since it was a gift.

I love the look. I bought this to display my husband’s knives. It’s the same exact size and even the shelves are in the same place. I liked the price and look of this one better
