I've used flaxseed oil in smoothies for decades. I'm switching to this brand. Made in Canada and not imported from other countries. Comes in great container to increase longevity. Taste does not matter much to me. When mixed with other foods in the blender little if any taste is known, unless "a lot" is used. Organic assures product is not contaminated with junk from growing fields or harvesting. Fair price for important nutrient.

I frequently broil cubed sweet potatoes and butternut squash. I put the cubes in a Ziplock with only a tablespoon of oil. I massage the oil over the cubes to make sure they each have a light coating then I put the cubes beneath the broiler. Watch them carefully and turn them frequently to avoid burning.

The healthiest oil on the market!!! Best kept secret. Smells good too!

Great for food and Hair

Apparently pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil have numerous health benefits and more nutritional value than olive oil, so I thought I'd give it a whirl and use it with my cooking. Turns out this is a rather interesting oil to cook with. First of all, it's very dark in color, which I wasn't expecting, and yet I really like its earthy tones. Where olive oil is rather neutral tasting (to me) pumpkin seed oil is more complex and richer in flavor. I've used it with boeuf bourguignon, sautéed mushrooms (and other veggies), and even my homemade lasagna! It is a little pricey, yes, but with all the controversy around authentic imported olive oil I'm willing to pay a little more to get a genuine product.

Date expired before I had a chance to cook with it.
