Awful Quality.
Two of the cones were cockeyed (it is how they were machined, not shipping damage) and the threading on the axles themselves is poor. Even with two of the functional cones, there is too much play on the axle for this set to actually be usable. Anodized QR's came in with scratched and dented levers. Pretty much garbage all around. I wouldn't mount this on a Walmart bike, much less anything else.

Doesn't hold up
After just a couple weeks of bike rides, axle bent enough were it was unusable. Might be okay for a kid that weight less than 100 pounds. But if you weigh closer to 200 pounds, the axle will very quickly warp.

Not built with high tolerance
Bought these to convert my old 80’s mountain bike to a quick release system. First of all, the reason for my low rating is that bolts and cones that come on with the shipment fit loose on the quick release axle so I used the cones and bolts I had on the original axle. The fit was better but not like the way it fit on the original axle. Bottom line, I had to go back to the original axle because my rear drop out was not designed with a near vertical drop out with reference to the chain direction and when I put the power down on the pedal, the quick release would immediately slip. One time my bike abruptly came to a stop and I fell really hard onto the pavement. I thought I hadn’t tightened it hard enough so I made sure it was really tight and again same thing happened except I didn’t fall the second time. These quick release do not provide enough grip. Later I found out my near parallel drop out design in reference to chain direction was not conducive to a quick release system. Oh well back to the old set up. I ate the cost since I did not do enough research to ensure these would work on my bike - lesson learned on attention to detail.

Keep your old axle...
...you might need parts from it to make this one work. The quality of this assembly is fine. Especially considering the low price. The biggest problem is that everything is too short. The nut and cone of this axle together are as long as my old cones. When I installed this axle the cones were so short that they disappeared inside my hub. There was no way for me to reach them with a cone wrench to properly load the bearing. I did my best to load it by hand and the secure it with the nut. Again both parts are so short that cone and nut were inside my freewheel. When I installed the wheel the freewheel was rubbing on the dropouts and blocked the wheel from spinning. I had to use spacers and nuts from my old axle to get it to work (kind of). The problem with loading the bearings still remains. If you really need a new axle ask your local bike shop. They will be more expensive but it will safe you a lot of headaches.

Too short! Bends easily!
I did like other reviewers suggested and reused the original bearing cups and spacers to ensure my disk brakes lined up. However, the axle itself was over a quarter inch shorter than the original. I used it anyway because the bike is not for aggressive riding. After some mountain biking the axle bent. The metal is too soft for anything but flat ground.
