Exactly what I needed!
I use an old 12 cup Mr. Coffee Pot and typically make 4 cup pots. I decided to try this after struggling to find disposable coffee filters that don’t fold over and release grounds into my pot during brewing. Today was my first day using the reusable filter and it’s exactly what I need. It worked perfectly and was relatively easy to clean (gently scraped out grounds and rinsed thoroughly with water). I’ll update my review if it breaks or stops working, otherwise assume it’s maintained the five stars.

One 'different' move!
I like to put used coffee grounds on my yard and flower beds. Especially in winter, paper filters get in the way! This basket is working great as I can simply scoop out the grounds into a container. The wet grounds weren't really easy to remove. The basket is easy to remove with the little handle. I had hoped they would shake out, but a spoon is required to get them going. Not a deal breaker. Only a different move to get the used grounds taken care of and the basket ready to reuse tomorrow. It fits my coffee maker fine and will have good value.

It does exactly what you would want. I've been using it for one day more than a year now and have no complaints whatsoever. I love not needing to buy single use filters. Personally I just add new coffee on top of old coffee until it's too full for that any more and get 4 or so days between cleanings doing that. It's very easy to clean, just dump it out in the trash then rinse it off with warm water and it's ready to use again. If you want a reusable filter and this fits your machine you can't go wrong.

July 29, 2024: Just bought this for my new coffee maker (Mr Coffee 12 cups) and it works pretty - as seen in the video. The only downside is that if you are doing a coffee machine wash, the filter holds excess water that does not drain out, so be careful of this when cleaning the coffee machine as the water is very hot!
