Q: How hot is this get when it is curing?

The exothermic heat the MAX MCR produces during cure is based on the amount or volume of the mixture that is allowed to cure. For example, 1 cup of the mixed MAX MCR will cure within 25 minutes and can produce temperatures of up to 200 to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Curing 1/2 that size will exotherm less than 180 degrees Fahrenheit and cures to the touch in 45 to 60 minutes. We also offer a potting compound for a large volume potting. It offers a longer working time, low exothermic heat, and is thermally conductive to reduce heat build-up. The heat produced for a 4 cup volume is less than 160 deg Fahrenheit. Hello, This resin system, MAX MCR A/B is a room temperature curing resin. The ideal curing temperature is between 65°F to 95°F. Upon cure, MAX MCR A/B will withstand outdoor temperature exposures of up to 190°F. Hello, The best reusable mold material is silicone RTV molds.
