Lectron Tesla NACS to J1772 Adapter Just Plain Works
I have this Tesla to J1772 adapter that's for the Level 2 Tesla Destination chargers (you'll need the NACS to CCS Vortex adapter to use Supercharger units). I review cars and have tested this on various vehicles many times with no issues. These are very well built with a hefty feel, I always stress buying good gear for your expensive EV. I recently used the adapter at Alderbrook Spa and charged my Taycan for free (Porsche is not allowed at Superchargers at the moment but can charge at Destination chargers). That alone saved $40 at a DC fast charger. Might be worth the investment.

Cheap Alternative that Works
My TeslaTap Mini 80 Watt adaptor stopped working after 2 years of use so I had to get it fixed but in the meanwhile I didn't want to spend over $300 for another one so I looked another brand up and went with this. I've been using it for almost a month now and it's worked flawlessly with the Tesla charger. This is slightly bigger than the the TeslaTap Mini butuch lighter and definitely can't beat the price for the item.

Overheats after 1 month, Tesla support team knows about Lectron issues.
First ever 1 star review I've felt the need to post, in hopes of sparing someone else. Bought the Lectron adapter for my Porsche Taycan 4S because it appeared to be the best adapter available (clean branding, higher price point, plenty of orders, etc) but that was a huge mistake. The adapter worked for about 10 uses, then I started getting an overheating warning on both my car's charging port and on the Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger as well. The car would charge properly for about an hour, but as time progresses the adapter heats up and charging kWh slows down from 8.8 to about 2 before it eventually quits due to overheating.I spent 3 full days troubleshooting, and I'm a pretty resourceful person. From verifying that both the Porsche and Wall Charger are up to date, to ensuring that my 50 amp breaker has a max output of 40 amps, to even putting the Tesla Charger into "Compatibility Mode" which is designed to work for non-Tesla vehicles - nothing worked. After speaking with a representative from the Tesla Wall Charger support team, they were able to tell me first hand that Lectron complaints have skyrocketed on their end and that the higher ups are aware and actively trying to figure out a solution to this. They said something is off between the communication between the Tesla Charger and the adapter itself.Other details important to note: Lectron has not responded to my voicemail and 3 calls I've left them over the last 2 weeks. I also noticed they have dropped the price on this exact product over the last couple of weeks. Perhaps they are finally experiencing the impact of a inadequate product. My solution: I returned the product and ordered a replacement adapter. I won't be saying the replacement's brand name because this is not intended to be a shoutout to another competitor. I will say that this replacement is LESS money, rated at 80 amps instead of 48, and has zero issues reported to the Tesla Wall Connector Support Team, whereas Lectron had several issues reported.Do not buy this product. It could have caused serious damage to my tesla wall charger, my rather expensive car, or worse, it could have burned down my house!

Didn’t last [updated: received a replacement via warranty]
I purchased this adapter to charge my BMW ix with Tesla wall charger. It worked fine for a while but in less than six months it stopped working. While inspecting, I realized one of the pins were broken inside the Tesla charger. I sent an email to the support, let’s see how they will respond but I would expect it to last longer for its price.Update:I reached out the customer service- they were very prompt with communication and sent to me a replacement within few days. So I changed my rating back to 5 stars but I hope company will try to make the pins more durable.

Revised review. Excellent!
Same issue as the rest. Overheats first week. I didn’t want to burn up my adapter or my house so I bought a Tesla tap which works perfectly.Update: Lectron reached out and asked me to give it another try. They send out a replacement. It works! In fact, I do t know how they did it but it’s charging at a faster speed than my expensive Teslatap charger. I’m getting up to 24mi/hr which is 2mi/hr more than any other charger I tried (for my Rivian quad motor).

Good Tesla AC to J1772 adapter
Good adapter, a little larger than expected. Supports only under 48amps which may be fine for a Tesla mobile charger but not a wall charger depending on your setup. Comes with a drawstring bag to keep it dust free.

Works perfectly. A little tight on the NACS end
It works great. However, the connection with my level 2 home Tesla Charger is quite tight and is a little hard to insert and remove. Hopefully will improve over time.
