This really improves on the others I have by including a clip and a flat area instead of rounded pointy cap end. Good clip retention in shirt pockets and also small enough to fit in most men’s wallet that I own, easy to write with full length pen when cap is removed and placed on top. Good balance and great ink cartridge.

Great pen to keep in my pocket. Don't even remember it's there.

I use this with a leather 3x5 notepad holder. It fits in the included pen holder slot. Writes well, as expected (been using the black keychain version for over about 15 years). Email when closed, just big enough for comfortable writing when opened.

Small, yet when cover is flipped around to back, it's a very managable sized pen. Writes fairly well, but if you are picky about how fine a point you write with then you will find this smudgy. This is likely due to the pressurization of the ink that allows you to write upside down. If compact size is all you are looking for, you can get a better quality tip (perhaps not actual pen casing) elsewhere, Pilot G2 Mini Retractable Gel Ink Rolling Ball Pen, Fine Point, 4-Pack, Black Ink (31206) perhaps. Other slight issue is that the cap can occasionally come off on its own. Maybe a screw on closure would be more secure, although a little less slick. The clip is permanently attached to the cap, for better or worse, and in combination with the Single-Pen Quiver for Pocket Hard-Cover (A6 size) Notebooks, Brown and Moleskine Evernote Smart Notebook Squared Pocket , I have a portable note taking package that is super convenient and dependable.

This is a great sequel to the classic “bullet pen” that is rounded at both ends. The clip and bunt end on the cap makes it perfect for the shirt pocket, but it’s not too large to fit easily in a jeans pocket. My first Fisher pen was a bullet pin that I found in a parking lot. I kept it for about a year before using it and discovering that it is great pen with a pressurized cartridge. Refill cartridges come with an adapter for click pens, like a genuine Parker Brothers, which I also love, so now, that pen will also write upside down! I’m not sure how I would improve this pen.

I was looking for a compact pen that was reliable, and I've found it. ====================== PROs: -Takes up minimal pocket space If you're into edc, this is the pen for you. You'll forget it's even in your pocket. -Always writes They are used by NASA for a reason. If it has ink, it'll write. -Feels like a regular pen Once you put the cap on the back of the pen it feels like any other pen. The weight is nice. -Conversation starter You can show all your friends and co-workers the pen that astronauts use, they'll immediately know you're cool. ---- CONs: -Your friends might try to steal it I'm not saying they'll do it on purpose, but they might. It'll feel really nice in their hands too. ---- It's a solid pen. After using mine a few times my girlfriend bought herself one to keep in her purse. Hers is pink.

This is a great little pen. Takes up little space, but is heavy enough for you to feel it in your hand when the cap is put on other end while writing, otherwise it would be a bit small for my lg glove size hands. The ribbed grip area is a very nice touch too, making gripping of pen much easier. It writes very well and as advertised in all positions. The one I received has good, secure closure with the "O"-ring, it would not shake off even with repeated very vigorous shaking, but I can see how over time it might loosen due to wear and become unreliable and you could lose the pen. Still highly recommend as a pen to be used in small kit or a purse.

The pen itself is fantastic and one of my favorites but the magic is the ink cartridge, Fisher ink lasts so long, writes in any temperature, can be left in your car in the winter and summer - they never leak, they last longer than other inks, the writing quality is exceptional and if you buy spare ink, they will last forever until you are ready to use them - and made in the USA!!!! Phenomenal!

Terrible le stylo!

I have the standard bullet pen which is also great, but the shorter, flat cap on the X-Mark is a great feature making it more suitable for carrying in a pocket or attaching to a notebook, with less of the pen protruding out. It's it's long enough when posted to be comfortable to hold and write with. The chrome finish looks great.
