Epos BDT USB-C
The signal range is pretty good. It allows me to have mobility while using the headset.

Works as it should
Works as it should . Only issue I have is that it sometimes gets hijacked and my blue tooth speaker I have from another company sometimes takes over this. Other then that works great. Becuase the bluetooth pairing option in windows 11 is not the best so usb or type C is way better.

GOOD: Better than USB-A version. BAD: Never reconnect, Must always pair again.
I bought this EPOS USB-C BTD-800 when I left behind the Sennheiser USB-A version on a trip. Used with a Sennheiser headset for speech recognition and voice control of a computer using Dragon. (Sennheiser consumer product l like these have been either rebranded or sold to EPOS.) Eventually I recovered the Original USB-A dongle, and was able to compare. The USB-C dongle seems to provide much better sound quality. Certainly better than the USB-A dongle plugged into a USB-C port, next to a high-speed connector that has previously caused electromagnetic interference. I think also better When the USB-A dongle is plugged into a USB-A port. PROBLEM: I have not yet been able to reconnect my headset with the new USB-C dongle after disconnecting. Now, after rebooting or powering up every morning, or even after disconnecting by walking away and then walking back, I must pair the dongle and headset again. This is annoying, but also is a concern since the button on the EPOS BTD-800 USB-C dongle is on the side, and is difficult to press without torquing the USB-C connection. I worry that the USB-C port on my PC or the connector on the dongle will wear out, as is widely reported on the net, and has happened to me before on other PCs. (By the way, the old USB-A dongle did not require such re-pairing, but frequently required that I power the headset off and then on again. Not at first, but after an EPOS firmware update that also Lost the battery life notification). SUB-OPTIMAL: the USB-C dongle is larger than the USB dongle, with a bigger leader on, and is therefore more likely to be cause wear if you forget to remove the dongle from your laptop before slipping it into a laptop case.

I couldn't get it to work.
I was counting on this device to allow me to hear my MacBook Pro through my Phillips hearing aids, but it didn't work. I guess that says it all.

overpriced
Performs same as the regular USB if not worse. Have same trouble connecting to the headphones after extended period of sleep, the notification light stays on when the laptop is powered-off and wastes energy. Bought this just to save USB-A port on a new laptop so that I can use it for another peripheral which do not have alternate option. For the price of headphones, I would expect this to be included in the package in the first place. Regardless its way to overpriced for the given functionality. Buy this only if you absolutely need it.
