Recommend this this hinge
Easy install with the provided templates. The other side of my wall was still exposed so I was ables to install additional wood support. This let me install into wood instead of drywall. Hinges are good strong quality.

Works as advertised
The media could not be loaded. Worked great to hide the opening to my (unfinished) storage area. The instructions could use a little work - I needed a much larger drill bit for the magnet anchors than stated - but overall it was easy to install and works as advertised. The artwork looks just as it did before I cut the hole behind it and installed the hinges.

Great design, thin metal
Works pretty well. The design is clever and appropriate for the intended use. However, the metal is thin and bends too easily. Seems they could go down a gauge or two on the metal without sacrificing the concealed design.

Inaccurate description
The description shows only 1 pc. but there Are 2 hinges.

Works Well, but Attention to Detail needed during install
Nicely designed hinge. It works perfectly well in covering a wall safe. We had to 'build up' the edges of our chosen picture frame, since our safe had an exterior number pad raised above the level of the wall. But, if anything, that helped is install the hinge, since it gave more room to work with. The box contains templates, but you'll definitely want to go to the manufacturers website and watch the video a few times. We paused it at critical moments as we completed each step, since it is not intuitively obvious what to do. But, follow along closely and you should be ok.It's expensive, but it works, and at the end of the day, you'll have a nicely concealed safe or whatever, and that makes it worth it 100%. Recommended.

does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Would definitely get this again. It is pretty thin, but it needs to be for its purpose. Installation was not that bad. You just have to be careful and methodical. Mine hold up a large picture in a thick, homemade wooden frame (probably 2' wide by 5' tall, weighing a total of 30 lbs)

Harder than it looks, but it works
The instructions for this thing were very intimidating. Watching the video over and over is very helpful I started out by actually hanging my frame with a normal frame hook. I leveled it to perfection, made sure it was exactly where I wanted it, and marked around all 4 corners with a light pencil mark. Then I followed the video instructions step by step. Any questions I had, I emailed the company prior to attempted installation. They were very helpful and immediately responsive, so kudos to them for the excellent customer service. It is difficult to get this precisely level because installing the wall anchors will not yield a precise result. However, mine was almost perfect, and looks perfect to the naked eye. I recommend being patient with it and watching the video a few times before installation.

Extremely difficult to install 'perfectly'
This company is out of their minds thinking this is easy to install. They did a great job with the printed instructions and instruction video, but the issue is the hinge design/alignment factors are fundamentally flawed. I am an experienced handyman, I've installed and leveled 5000lb of garage cabinets, perfectly floated entire kitchen cabinets to walls etc but this got the better of me.Extreme care was taken to align the hinges to the back of the frame, and following their guidelines exactly still yielded a 'slant' from the weight of the frame. Their instructions say to use a level - I used a level and a laser alignment tool which I've used for years but there's too many incremental variables in mounting the hinge to the frame, wall mounting, their hinge manufacturing accuracy etc which all compound into making the hinges slightly twist with one another as they open and close and ultimately making it an impossible task to have a perfectly 'level' painting at the end of the day when its closed.I blew through many holes in my wall because my OCD got the better of me trying to 'counter' the weight of my landscape orientated frame with what the hinges could do so I reset & tried 3 times and it's been a disaster. And on top fall that, the hinges seriously dont close perfectly flush like they advertise, it's impossible because of the thickness of the hinge touching the back of your picture frame.... think about it. The high has to have a gap between the wall and your frame to work. Which is why on their YouTube instruction video they never show you a side on shot when he closes it.Sounds like others mange dot make it work but im 100% certain their pictures are not perfectly level and they're simply satisfied with the gap between the frame and the wall on one side. If you have any sort of OCD at all, and can pic a picture frame thats not straight when you walk into a wall. Forget this product. especially for $90 including tax.
