Quality cord
At first I was skeptical because it is fairly priced! I’m using it on a commercial shrimp boat for supper winches instead of cable. I have tested it with a 3,000lb load and it performed perfectly!

Strong and durable
Super strong and durable. My FIRST Robotics Competition team has been using this on robots for years to operate winches and elevators. This cord is incredibly strong and durable. It easily lifts a 150 lb robot for hundreds of cycles without breaking. The breaking strength for the 1/8" size is about 1600 lbs. Highly recommend when strength and durability are needed

Done well outside
Been holding up an outdoor antenna for a couple of years through sun and a number of violent storms, impressed that it is still up given its small diameter. Also use it for small stays on a kayak, negligible stretch.

Good, but color wears off of black version
Seems like a good product. I bought it to make climbing stick aider, which is kind of like a rope ladder. It was easy to work with and splice, and supports my weight with climbing gear of around 190 lbs.The only complaint is that the black isn't actually black. The rope looks black, but it is simply covered in a waxy black coating. After working with the rope with my hands and rubbing against things, my hands and the things it rubs against have some of the black coating on them, but it washes off relatively easily. The rope after the black has been rubbed off is a silver color.

Different but good
This dyneema is slightly different than the Samson Amsteel. Its much flatter and has 12 strands instead of 8. It was a little harder to splice at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Overall it's been great for making my whoopie slings.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

3mm review
Ive used up my 100 feet of 3mm dyneema. To me it is a cross between Amsteel SK78 and Marlow Ropes SK99. Closer to the original SK90, which I've also found will flake and turn a lighter grey, but to a much lesser extent than this line. That is my only complaint as otherwise it acts like a heat set dyneema (which is NOT as soft as the standard Amsteel SK78). It has held up fine everywhere I have used it. It isn't my first choice for soft shackles or above deck applications because of the tendency to shed but its still quality line. FYI, raw dyneema is not mean to be used in a cleat on a sail boat, so if that is your intention, please learn a bit about rigging.

excellent for splicing
A fairly loose weave makes splicing easy. I've inserted up to 8 mm polyester double braid line into this 4mm UHMWPE to create loops on the end of my lines (for snap shackles etc). Insert polyester core to 30cm, whip end of UHMWPE and milk outer polyester braid back down. Net result is only marginally thicker, but totally pliable and stronger than the original polyester line. Beats the heck out of normal double braid splicing. You can't do this with most (more expensive) brands. This stuff is great!
