Piano Theory: Level 1 (A Programmed Text) (David Carr Glover Piano Library)

I'm returning to the piano after many decades. This book is helping me walk back through the basics. I thought it would be good to start at the early stage because some is familiar but some needs refreshing. The workbook covers topics gradually so it's not at all overwhelming.

Great for learning

Exactly what my piano teacher told me it would be. A good way to learn to read music. Perfect for me as an adult just learning piano.

I have used these theory books for years. They are easy to understand and good at building concept on concept.

I use this series for teaching my piano students. I find it comprehensive with the other books at each level.

I've been teaching 21 years. Great book!

I like that the fundamentals are laid out well. I would have liked more practice on writing accidentals before the note.
