Villeroy & Boch 1041737535 Soup Passion Asia Spoon Set, White

This is a beautiful bowl! In the picture it may look like a typical heavy ceramic bowl, but it is actually extremely light and refined, but not fragile. Lovely to have a place for chop sticks to rest. It nicely holds a whole package of Lotus Rice Ramen Wakame Miso Soup, also available at Amazon. Plenty of room for added vegetables, tofu, and other ingredients. Now that I have tried it out I will order more to be able to serve the the family and guests.

These are fine bowls but the notch for chopsticks reduces the volume of the bowl to around 6 oz.They are small bowls.

This product is wonderful. The bowls are pretty big so it works great with soup or stew.

Hopefully someone will amend this product's description before long. But what was delivered (twice! I ordered 2 sets) in no way matches the description, which states "4 Pieces: Premium Porcelain Dish, Ceramic Tray/Soup Spoon/Chopsticks". Well, what turned up had the same product ID, and contained 4 pieces, but there, the reality diverged dramatically from the description. What turned up were 2x soup bowls and 2x soup spoons. No chopsticks, no ceramic trays. You would think that shipping this stuff from the EU and paying customs charges and shipping charge the vendor would actually check that what they were shipping vaguely matched the description, but apparently not. I'm delighted to say that after a call with Amazon's wonderful customer services team, this mess was sorted out to my satisfaction.

I have coveted these for a while, and was not disappointed. They are lovely to use and extremely practical! I also bought them as a wedding present for a friend, who absolutely adores them. We use them for soup, but they are also practical for anything that involves dipping.

Excellent quality if somewhat pricey but why many restaurants use Villeroy Boch as look like new even after multiple dish washes unlike cheaper look alikes where the glaze crazes
